Saddo, would you consider something like this?
I just took your basic idea and made it a little more modern.
Here are some rough ideas.
Basic
Lite animation
I know you made this ages ago
Now I am not saying your original logo is ugly but .....I just thought it needs a face lift.
Wont you consider it?

I am not saying you are a racist and I understood what you were doing with the bolts but....
They just look wrong, I guess because of where I come from.
Just ask VD and he will say the same thing about the bolts.

I consider that sometimes needs to change , that make more enthusiastic the Forum , obviously i like the original , but is good to try it ........

Those lightning bolts are symbols of the SS, the "protective squadron" of the Nazi party. Big difference between that symbol and the ones Saddo is using.And what is up with the bolts?

If there ever was a guy qualified to make a new symbol it's you Danny.
But....
I'm not so sure the logo needs changing. I don't see it as outdated, I see it as part of the Saddo tradition.
It's not my opinion that really matters though. What does matter is that there are promoters, boxing managers and fans that recognise the traditional Saddo symbol at boxing events.
(I myself had the press pass around my throat, only to be approached by Brian Peters, the biggest promoter in IrL)
I'm not sure its a good idea to change something that has brought the site to prominence.

I like the old logo. It has a more old school vintage feel to it. But maybe because it is vintage. It matches the newspaper background and the overall look of it feels more like a logo than the other one.
I dont like the suggested one. It feels too 'corporate', more like it was meant for a business website rather than a forum. I dont like the composition of it either, its too square, which makes it feel even less like a logo and more like an ad.
Are you or Saddo graphic designers? Im not, but thats my critique. Do not want.
