It's fine if you guys want to see him lose, I get that, but I think it's wrong to wish for him to get pummeled, or have his head knocked off.
Sergio is an extremely nice guy, and would you guys really be happy if something serious happened to him, like brain damage, or worse death. If so, that's sad. Hopefully you'll never hear anybody say those words about someone you know, or care about.
And, keep underestimating Sergio, he prefers it that way. I'll be talking to him tomorrow, I'll make sure to pass along your best wishes to him.

oh cmon diane.. i'm sure plenty of boxers are nice guys, but you have to take our verbiage with a grain of salt.. you're allowed to use hyperbole in sports, i swear, it's not meant literally.. When the Celtics were playing the Lakers, i probably said, i hope the Celtics mop the floor with the Lakers.. I hope they kill the Lakers.. I hope they destroy the Lakers.. and basketball isn't even a violent sport.. and no one means those words literally.. THIS IS BOXING, and it involves punching another human, and it's violent.. which makes it even more easier and appropriate to use terms like we have been..
No one wants to see anyone get injured, that never even entered my head.. cmon now..
even though Sergio lost to manfredo in the second fight, but got a complete down right, robbery decision, i have just almost gotten over it simply because if he wasn't undefeated, then he may not even be in the position to fight someone like Pavlik, unless he fought through a gauntlet of quality guys first.. So maybe that terrible decision he won is a blessing in disguise and we get to see a real rumble in September with Pavlik looking impressive yet again!
