    5'6 as a heavyweight... that's gonna be tough. Tyson was a pretty short guy and he's what 5'10? 5'11?

    Plus you'll lose some of your power (assuming you punch hard which you better at that height, because you won't outbox anyone) because you'll be punching up.

    should i lose some weight and go cruiser weight or light heavyweight.

    Hey everyone im 6' 210 and for my frist fight in 4-5 months im going to slowly loose 15 pounds while keeping strength and all that so i hope to fight in the 195 class is that light heavy or still crusier??

    Thats amateur heavyweight, proffesional cruiserweight

    You would have to lose 40lbs to make Cruiserweight and 65lbs to make Light Heavyweight. Thats alot of weight! And we all saw what happened to Roy Jones Jr when he lost so much weight. I recently started upping my training and lost 9lbs in 5 weeks but I wasnt aiming to lose weight. So it would take a year or two at least for you to lose the weight and be ready to fight at that weight.

    But fighting at Heavyweight being so small does put you at a big disadvantage.
