I think more and more that this will come down to Clottey....will he respond in force when hit with early quick shots...and he will be.He just seems to sort of go through the motions lately. I think he will have to pressure Zab throughout, wear him down otherwise he can be outsped.I give duability to Clottey, solid and IF he asserts I think Zab fade's.

Judah has 5 loses. In every single one of them he's been able to add some kind of footnote (foolish or not) to help him cope with it. And to soften the backlash. In the Kostya Tszyu loss it was Jay Nady not issuing him a count. It was unfair he claimed. Plus him crip walking pretty much over shadows everything. The Cory Spinks loss was erased by him going into St. Louis (Spinks hometown) and knocking him out. Against Carlos Baldomir he claimed to have overlooked him (possible). The Mayweather loss was excused cuz Judah was facing the p4p number 1 fighter. An elite fighter. He also gave Mayweather the hardest first 4 rounds of his career. Against Cotto he was up against another elite fighter. One who was pretty much destroying everything in front him. Judah fought well and showed great heart in the loss. Judah has no excuse for this fight. He said he's in great shape. There is no other fight schedule. So he's not looking ahead. And he's not facing an elite fighter. Clottey is good. But not elite. Judah also knows another loss and the HBO/ShowTime dates are over. I can't see Judah losing to Clottey. He has to much to lose. And no excuses to help him out. Judah by UD.

Thats what I'm talkin bout! Zab is not stupid, he must know his back is against the wall here. If he wishes to continue making big bucks and fighting on HBO and Showtime then he MUST WIN THIS FUCKING FIGHT!

Plus Clottey fades late which is good, and puts the ear muffs up as Teddy Atlas would say. He handcuffs himself and lets the other guy tea off, which could let Judah build up an early lead, which he should be able to hold on to, as Clottey is a good solid fighter, but not a huge hitter or crazy volumne puncher.

I expect a good, competitive fight with Judah taking the decision.

    Judah vs. Mayorga anyone?
"You knocked him down...now how bout you try knockin me down ?"

Is this the Judah - Clottey thread then ? Or is anyone doing a round by round tonight ?

I think it will be a good fight cuz Clottey doesnt come to mess about and we know Judahs dangerous early. Its gonna be great seeing a loudmouth like Zab slowly dismantled which is what Im predicting . The way the styles clash I just cant see any other outcome. Clottey looked like a talented kid vs Corrales and he will have too much IMO.

Both guys have lost to Baldimor which is abit worrying but that doesnt really tell the story cuz it will be a high quality fight

Judah weighed in at 143?! His lowest in almost 5 years. Hes definately been training hard, hopefully not overtrained though. I expect he will be fast as usual but the question i will Clottey be to strong for him.

Clottey is one of boxing's most overratted fighters. The plethora of Margarito hate in recent years led to Clottey being hailed as some kind of superfighter until he 'broke' both hands against Tony in a fight he was surely destined to win

The reality is Clottey is another front runner. He's good for a few rounds then fades. He's also plodding, dull to watch and one dimensional.

Mark my words Zab is going to box his head off. It's a wide wide points win for Zab.
