"You knocked him down...now how bout you try knockin me down ?"
Kid Diamond hurt PBF but then again I doubt how much stock can be placed with that on account of Floyd's sparring sessions sometimes include 10-12 minute rounds so PBF might have been at the end when The Kid did his thing.
Foreman sparred with Liston, don't know if he ever KO'd him though
I would be interested to hear more about those sessions between Sonny and George.Originally Posted by Lyle

Sounds like a proper fairy tail. Entertaining though
Stick
I dont believe in Fairies.
And he wasnt the only guy there, it was kept quiet.
Rumour has it one particular guy who was with the mob at the time is writing a book which should be out in a few months, it will blow lids of lots of things outsiders wouldnt and didnt know.
Some other tales have depressed even me, I know one guy who was going to do an expose and within two days he told me his life had been threatened and he had been attacked, and warned off.
He dropped the idea like a ton of bricks. Some of the info he had would have blown your fairies out the window.

But funny.
Whos the Irish kid who apparently used to beat up Manny Pacquiao for a pastime?
Dunne I think, not sure of a forename though.
When God said to the both of us "Which one of you wants to be Sugar Ray?" I guess I didnt raise my hand fast enough
Charley Burley
Bernard Dunne is who you are referring to. not sure about the story thoughOriginally Posted by Memphis
Diamond's told that story a lot but he kind of seems like a loudmouth to me, have you heard anyone else say that Diamond hurt Floyd? I'd be surprised if it happened even at the end of one of Floyd's long rounds.Originally Posted by Lyle

u havent rele thought this throu mate kid dynamite would also have benn at the end of the 10 - 12 min round so he would be tired as well so thts no excuseKid Diamond hurt PBF but then again I doubt how much stock can be placed with that on account of Floyd's sparring sessions sometimes include 10-12 minute rounds so PBF might have been at the end when The Kid did his thing.

no man he changes up sparring partners, one will get 4 minutes or so and then another will jump right in and Floyd will keep going. Not many people train like Floyd.Originally Posted by hitmanhatton

And I doubt it happened anyway. Even if it did if he and Diamond fought I can't see any way that Diamond could win, he'd get brutalized IMO. Only two fighters with a real chance at Floyd right now IMO are Hatton and Judah.
