I thought we were going to do absolutely shit this Olympics but we've been amazing by our usual standards.

We could be on target for breaking double figures for gold medals.

We're currently higher than Russia in the table, has this ever happened before?

this team we have sent , has by far had the most funding . which kinda sums it all up , invest money and you get gold.

No Andre unlike Australia , who as we both know invest massivly in sport so they can excell in everything they take part in. Britain specialises in sports that no other nation takes part in to look better than we actually are

I dont think our goverment backs our athletes maybe help a bit.
But most have day jobs and get up early to train and then again at a night.
Their work often gives them time off to train too. Not sure who pays the Australian institute of sport where they do a few months prior to competing and sponsers help too.
I imagine the larger countries would have full time coaching and aim for future events continually .
