just becouse couture hasn't needed to submit anyone doesn't mean he doesn't know how he's been in the game for a long long time. on the other hand I've been fighting for only 2 years and I've seen that there is more knowledge in mma than you can pick up in such a short period of time. Its rediculous that lesnar gets this fight after having only two fights.

Dream on. Lesnar might beat a past prime Couture. But he would be facing an entirely different beast in Fedor. Aside from Fedor's tremendous physical strengths, he is as smart a fighter as there is. Lesnar for all of his raw physical gifts...is a blockhead.

As far as Fedor goes , he is the man and will continue to be for quite sometime, whilst I apprecite your zeal for Lesnar, Von I think we need to See alot more of Brock as well as him being profecient in subs to even scratch the skill level of Fedor... Mark this post guys. Ok so Randy is old but is probably the best executor of a pre defined gameplan the sport has ever seen.

Randy knows Brock is a phenomenal athlete

Randy knows Brock will be more controlled in this fight than he was against Mir (where his over anxiousness and lack of respect from Mirs sub game i can only liken to a 15 year old lad being told by his sexy 30 year old teacher 'come fuk me')

What i am saying is Randy knows all these things and one way or another he will come up with some sort of gameplan to defeat this guy. Lets not forget, Brock is seriously inexperienced in the game. His use of the Octagon is no where near as good as it should be if you are going to fight Randy. Power and speed count for a lot but he will need bags more experience to do to Randy what he did to Herring. Don't get me wrong, i like herring and think he's a good fighter...but he's not at Randys skill level in either strategy or execution of gameplan either physically or mentally. Plus even with his younger years he is nowhere near the athlete Randy is.

In short, don't write Randy off. Its a tough one for him no doubt and picking against Brock is hard for some i appreciate. Plus Randy is 45 freakin years old

BUT

I am willing to bet rep or whatever that come fight night Randy will come out on top. I know, i know, maybe my heart is ruling some of my opinion but i have looked at it a little more objectively and i think Randy could do it. Tall order but i think he can win.

Deep down...White knows Fedor is the best fighter in the world (with all due respect to Anderson Silva). The fact that Fedor didn't act like a punk and sell himself out to UFC...drives White that much crazier. Even if Lesnar beats Couture...any knowledgable MMA fan still knows that Fedor is the best heavyweight in the world...and no one in the UFC can lay claim to that until they face and beat Fedor. It's appropiate that Dana White is trying to make a former WWF wrestler into his star...i always thought a low class sleazebag like Dana would have been better suited owner for WWF wrestling anyways.

a longer fight will favor randy....lesnar will be very dangerous early on because of his tremendous strength....dirty boxing again will be the key..
