Was Khan Fasting?

Hewas fasting as he's a strict Muslim and it's ramadam, i said in Mark TKO's thread that he looked and sounded i'll pre fight
not an excuse for him but a fact.
Crazy to arrange a fight under those circumstances

Khan weren't fasting. I went to Morocco in August and they're muslims there. We got a talk off some guy about there religion and he said sports stars, pregnant women, old people and children under 14/15 don't have to fast.

He was fasting when i interviewed him a few years back
He could have eaten a 10 course meal and those punches would have still put him down though but the timing of the fight is shocking

If you fast,you lose weight,he had to make a minimum weight as well as a maximum

If you fast,you lose a massive amount of weight quickly,so if he had fasted,he wouldnt have come in at acceptable weight for the commission to allow the fight to happen
You have to make a minimum weight as well as a maximum in your weight class
Your commission will allow you a few pounds under,but not a massive fasting weight loss
There wouldnt have been a fight if he had been fasting,he would have been too under weight

Are there not certain exemptions from the fasting requirement?

If so, I'm sure Khan would have been exempted for health & safety reasons.

Saying that, I just think it's a matter of poor punch resistance for Khan.

The Limod & Gomez fights proved that there were going to be rough times aheah, whenever he fought someone with a dig & so it proved last night.

exactlly i never claimed it was an excuse i was just saying it wouldnt have effected his weight, but its not normal eating patterns is it and its the day of the fight that would be most difficult because if he had stook to his fasting he would have been able to eat up untill a couple of hours before the fight,

but hed have been ktfo regardless

Yes it is ramadan and Khan did seem to have no punch resistance what so ever he was hurt with a jab.It could have played a part in it but i think he was gunna get KO'd no matter what Prescott was just better.He could be the next world champ we should have been following him rather than Khan.
