Well not only is Sultan a more experienced fighter he is a SOUTHPAW which is rare to be good AND a southpaw and he has quick hands. He waited for Wlad to make a mistake WITH THE RIGHT CROSS and he was going to throw a short left cross and follow up....Wlad was too smart for that and took a boring decision...had the ring been smaller then the outcome would have been different....also Sultan didn't go for the KO either and therefore he didn't tire out the way he did vs Austin.

I think Povetkin being young, orthodox, untested vs top teir prime heavyweights, and not having too much power or speed then he's going to be destroyed vs Wladimir....Eddie Chambers a 220 pound defensive fighter swole his eye up big time....what's going to happen when the "steel hammer" from the 240+ pound Klitschko drops on Alex

This should be a quick violent fight where Povetkin either weathers the storm and shocks the world or Wlad just steamrolls the young Povetkin

How's this fight going to look? Will this be another terrible Sultan Ibragimov style fight where Klitschko, despite his size advantage will be super defensive and go for a points win?

Part of me really wants the kid to beat him-- just so something exciting happens in that division.

Povetkin can win!! great amature and solid pro.

Can we also add for the record that Chambers looks like an overweight light heavyweight? The guy is two divisions too high. He should grow his way into a higher division, not eat his way there.
    Oops

To answer the question posed earlier in the thread, the difference between Sultan and Alex is that Sultan uses his speed to move around the ring a lot more. Povetkin, from what I've seen, stands in front of his opponent and attempts to outbox him. This fight will be different because Povetkin will bring the fight to Klitschko rather than running and waiting for Klitschko to make a mistake. I see Klitschko using his size and strength to wear down Povetkin by leaning on him in clenches and hurting Povetkin's hands and arms by hitting them with power punches. Klitschko will begin their exchanges from a distance using his jab to keep Povetkin at bay, and then when Povetkin manages to get through to the inside, Klitschko will lean on him until Povetkin tires from holding up the bigger man. Eventually, Povetkin's guard naturally will lower from his fatigue and Klitschko will put him to sleep like he did Calvin Brock.
