This class is just about the most confusing thing I have ever experienced. It's like a 3 month long acid trip. English is not even the prof's first language. She's dedicated to the democratic ideal of letting us vote on almost everything (IE how many readings per week), and with our last assignment: she only graded some of them, the rest she told us to write what we thought we deserved on them and then told us she would not take that into account when grading![]()
I was actually going to reply to your first post Legion and get mad for giving him the wrong advice. Besides, what a story that is. I dropped a class to see Neil Young, what a story. That's like the Roy Orbeson tattoo in the Waterboy.
"To live a full life take risks", Rocky Marciano.
Rocky Marciano was in love with cash, he never kept anything in banks, he would never deposit a check he would always cash it, always. Anytime he got paid it had to be cash, they say he would throw out checks just because he liked the cash more.
Apparently the night he died he just used that cash to get a pilot to fly him from whereever he was to home, something he did a lot and it cost him.
So CFH, if you're going to the Neil Young concert by way of flight from the local airstrip, I would say don't do it. Again, wtf am I talking about. It made sense in my head, I've read that stuff about Marciano too.
I don't fly unless I absolutely have to, so that's not a worry.
I don't think I'm going to go to the show, as with travel and accomodations it will cost me well over $200, plus I would miss a day of work. I think I am going to drop the class though, so the situation isn't a total loss.
I went to the show. Fucking awesome, I've seen literally hundreds of shows and this one is in my top 3 all-time along with Radiohead and Pantera.
Worth every penny (and brain/liver cell).
Live for the moment bud, if you want to do something never ask yourself 'should I do this' just do it. You might not get the chance to do it again. That's my advice.
