I like rain, it freshens up the air and feels ever so soft against my skin.

One thing I do hate when it rains are the umbrella wars I go through. The pavement outside is too narrow and some dimwit decided that it would be a good idea to plant trees on it, thus decreasing the space even more. So you have two people heading towards each other, unwilling to move armed with their umbrellas. Even on a sunny day Koreans tend to walk in zigzags and cross my path. Imagine them with an umbrella! Its utter chaos. Last year I actually knocked a guy down. Just stick to one side and walk in a straight line for christsakes! I didnt hang around, I just kept on walking.

These people have no sense of space or coordination. I wait for an elevator and let the people get off before I try to get on. These people just try to push in while the people inside are trying to force themselves out. Utterly ridiculous to watch. That wasnt really related to rain, but I just wanted to share it.

Seeing as I was complaining about the snow and all...I think it deserves mention that even though it has snowed already 3 times atleast, yesterday it hit 70F here and people were in their shorts. That's how messed up our weather is at these transitionary times here in Canada.

In May...I have seen temps. range from snow...to over 95F.

Let this answer your question in the other thread as to how it is in Canada, and especially where I am. We get more snow then almost all of the planet...and have seen as much as 6-7 ft. in 1 day. I like the snow...don't get me wrong, but come February, it starts to get real old...and that is usually when it gets the coldest.

I'll take rain and hippies over snow and rednecks any day.

I like stormy weather, but it doesn't rain nearly as much here as it does in Vancouver or Seattle.

We are getting about 3 inches of rain today and tomorrow. I am thanking my lucky stars. You know why? Because if it was not rain, it would be in the form of 30 inches of snow. I will keep the rain thank you very much
