5. Upset of the year - Manny Pacquiao TKO8 Oscar De La Hoya (Nobody in their right mind, could have predicted the beating that Manny gave Oscar. A fight that most boxing fans, including myself, thought was a absolutely horrible matchup for Manny turned into the biggest blowout in recent boxing history. ODLH quit on his stool which is absolutely unheard of. This has to be the upset of the year.)
6. Comeback fighter of the year (This means a fighter who cameback from having bad years to make a comeback to the spotlight in 2008. This does not mean a "comeback" in a fight) - Vic Darchinyan
7. Event of the year (It could be the Dream Match or an event like Ahmet Oner ringing the bell during the Williams fight or JMM-Pac II) - ODLH vs Manny Pacquiao
8. Worst fight of the year - Steven Luevano vs Billy Dib
