Please don't count 160 among Oscar's weights. His adventure at 160 was even more ridiculous than Hatton's crack at 147. He got a gift against Sturm, and got KO'ed by a grazing liver shot by Hopkins. Tito, on the other hand, KO'ed a 160-pound champ in William Joppy, before getting beat by Hopkins. And whether Jones Jr. was shot or not, Tito went up 10 more pounds to 170 (admittedly not a smart move) to fight a naturally bigger man.

But... you're right about one thing.
I am an Oscar disliker ("hater" is such a strong word).

Tito has a better legacy than Oscar

Well i see it differently i mean Oscar moved up more weight classes and had more success then Tito did and his best win alot of people thought he lost so i not sure how he could have had a better legacy then Oscar did he sure did not have the same stardon as he did.

Stardom does not mean nothing compared to legacy.

I not saying because od stardom he has beaten more champions and gone up more weight divisions and had success that to me makes Oscar better because of that i was not just taking about his fame i think there fight was not a good decsion i thought Oscar should of got the nod for the fight and that is the only reason why they are even compared.

I heard so much crap about how Cotto supposedly quit against Margarito
He did. Look at the second KO how the camera zooms at his hard-to-recognize face and you'll see how he shakes his head at his corner, simply "No mas" for him.
well how about DLH's showing vs Pac?
Pretty bad too. But if I had to compare both, I'll say Cotto has been the worse beating of 2008. ODLH decided not to keep going and prevent that from getting worse. I wouldn't be surprised if he got knocked down later on. He didn't even look like he was trying. Smart decision by his corner to prevent him from continuing. Looked bad, very bad actually for trying to be smart about his last fight picking someone who seemed smaller and having his plan backfire. But yeah, happens to anybody who decides to stay in the ring longer than they should. Many boxing's greatest have gone through the same thing.
And Tito finished the fight on his feet. DLH got his *ss kicked by a comparitive midget and was made to quit on his stool
I agree. If I had to compare both, I'll say Trinidad has looked less bad. Loosing against a bigger guy doesn't look as bad as the opposite. But the interesting thing here is that both ODLH and Trinidad have faced each other and Oscar took Tito to school regardless of the questionable decision.
(and yet he gets the decision in Oscar's backyard, Las Vegas, from 3 U.S. judges.... hmm... they must have seen something you didn't)
So if you agree with Tito's gift decision after Oscar took him to school then you'll agree that Chavez deserves a total draw vs Whitaker, that Holyfield deserves that draw vs Lewis, etc., eh?
