it was a very good night of fights. I was particularly impressed with Forrest. He has improved 50 fold since coming into the ufc. His hand speed looked on par with rashad's. It's clear that the light HW division is a three horse race right now. Well, 4 with Machida.

You know, as much as I love boxing and appreciate the big fights, boxing just doesn't put on a show like the ufc does. 3 BIG fights in one night.

Dana = asshole but he knows what the fans want to see...

Forresst did develop a huge amount, but I still feel it's a good thing he's an ex champ now.

Rampage exorcised a lot of demons with that KO. Wanderlai, as you alluded to is now out of contention.

UFC will always be secondary for me, but they do put on a show. A UFC ppv is guaranteed better value than a boxing ppv.

I think Dana, with his crappy wages, keeps his fighters very hungry for the title fights. Where as in boxing the mid tier guys are geting huge pay days, either to fight nobodies or just lose their edgeiness.

Felt sorry for Noguera, he looked old.

Agreed, but Dana pays average guys better than average boxers get paid. I was rooting for Forrest. There's nothing to dislike about Rashad, but I don't really like him either. Forrest is one that I actually like. I like the average joe that overachieves better than the talented underperformer. Not that Rashad fits that mold, just don't really care for him either way.

Rashad has improved tons also and I am very impressed with his career. Noguria did look old. I was hoping for a little more out of Rampage and Silva, but can't complain much about a knockout like that.

Nog has looked old for a while now but he has been allowed to comeback from a beating to win . He didnt get chance this time. Frank looked really good in that fight . I thought he may gas out and we could be in for another nog - silva type of fight but Frank got the job done and if he is on that form when he fights Brock again it will be another quick finish.

Does that mean you are picking Mir over Lesnar?

Yeah and I picked him in the 1st fight too . I knew he didnt have the ground skills

I havent seen this great improvemnet in Lesnar that everyone has. He basically lay on top of a washed up Heath Herring for the full fight . Then he landed a lucky punch on a washed up Randy Cotoure. I havent seen any great skills from him yet . Mir is not washed up infact he looks improved from what he was. Brock needs to get him early cuz the longer it goes the less chance he has. I make Mir and big favourite going into that fight.

Forrest was using the perfect game plan until he got taken down.

Agreed. I was upset with ODH vs Pac.

I think Dana is good at what he does.
