Considering the amount of revenue Hatton generates, I'd say that split is very fucking fair. Considering the fact that Roach said Valero was the alternative option for $3m, Pac is a fool. If his promotor thinks he's crazy, Roach thinks he's crazy, then surely Manny is wrong here. Now I hear he's said Mayeather is on the table. Does he think Floyd will allow him a larger share of the revenue? I highly doubt it. Honestly, I can't see how Manny can make more money elsewhere, and for fucks sake, who needs more than $11m plus a 52% share of the fucking revenue? They're both doing the same fucking job in the ring! Pac is already a millionaire. No wonder people turn their back on boxing when shit like this happens. It makes a mockery of the sport.
Just cos he's already a millionaire doesn't mean he should sign the first contract jammed in front of his face. From Gareth Williams' interview it seems that the negotiations went in the Hatton's camp favour as he said he had to battle hard
to reach 50-50 with Arum. Now, this implies that Arum/Pac's initial offers were more favourable towards them; consider then that Pac goes home for a holiday and after a week of Arum/Williams negotiations he's sent a contract for less than he had discussed with Arum - I think he has the right to go wtf just ahppened??!
PAc hasn't flat out denied the bout, he just wants further negotiations, why the hell should he respond to an ultimatum of 'sign this or its off'? especially with that condescending cunt Schaefer involved.
