Had a bit of snow last night and then a shed load this afternoon.


My car skidded when I put the breaks on and I hit a parked car.

I'll start by wishing you "Congratulations" on the baby mate!Erm yeah,i've got the snow and thunder and lighting pretty bad here in the Northeast of england.Its coming in from the east coast right where i live soo its like a smack in the face.Its about 3" deep here.I truly hate the snow!!Take it easy when drive mate.Keep the car in high gear to shave it from skidding as much!!

That's a good point...also brake much early that normal and if you skid...release your foot of the brake and just steer.

Over here in Toronto I've seen a definite increase in the amount of snow over the last 5-10 years. Has there been such a trend in England?
