What part,Id love to know, the being polite and just putting up the names of the fighters, and not insulting people by thinking it all needs to be in the thread title part?
Or the saving people time part,so they can just skip over a fight they arent interested in part?
Or the assuming that people would know who I meant, and I didnt need to spell out the full name of two former champions part?
Was it the not wasting your time part you thought was funny,or the not insulting your knowledge of the sport part that you thought was funny?
Well,at least that was an honest answer.
Though I wouldnt count those chickens yet, what Im hearing is Spaddie is at weight, but he isnt in shape. And Chacon is ready to roll.
These are the type of fights I like personally, because I dont know who's going to win.
You want to lay your money on Spaddie based on reputation,go for it,but Ive got a suspicion it going to be Chacon just on better conditioning
haha, I don't even know where to start with that one.
You were being polite by not insulting people by putting first names in a thread title? There goes Trainer Monkey again, always considerate to not insult people's intelligence, how offensive would it be if he assumed that I didn't know the exact Chacon that was gonna be put in with Spadafora?
And you were saving people time who didn't care about the fight by not including the fighters first names?
This might be my favorite.
I mean if you had made the title Paul Spadafora/Angel Chacon people who didn't care would have wasted so much of their precious time lingering over those first names, thankfully you just put Spadafora/Chacon and people were able to go on with their days, time is money, we're not all speed readers.
Only thing that interests me about this fight is how Spadafora looks! I think even at this stage he'll be too much for the faded Chacon... not that it matters much once he steps up (if he stays outts trouble) that 0's gonna go!!!
The Best There Is, The Best There Was, The Best There Ever Will Be
Just gonna repeat this,if I was a betting man,Id go Chacon,5 years ago Id have taken Paulie solid. But I think Angel is way more prepared for this then Paulie is.
Im not dissing either fighter, because they have both been champions,I just think Angel is more ready to go.
And again thats just an opinion, opinions go out the window when the fighters go in to the ring.
And on a side note, wouldnt it be funnier then hell, since we've been discussing it all day,if Acri just pulled the fight?
You may be right & Chacon will be more prepared but niether guy has been very active. If Spadafora is around 135 then I have to say he's in some sorta shape. At this point though I still think Spadafora is the better fighter, Chacon seems on the wrong side of the slope.
Only thing I'm interested in seeing Spadafora do is bring his nice record & little name recognition into a fight with one of todays prospects & getting owned!
He's little more than a gatekeeper now!
The Best There Is, The Best There Was, The Best There Ever Will Be
I didnt run his camps,so this is hear say,but apparently he really looked like he was building to something once upon a time, now?,he's going to be at the fight on time.
Hopefully,unless he gets arrested again.
Its truly a shame, because I know all the people who saw him coming up,and they all say he could have been special.
In all honesty this should be called,"Who's Still Got The Fire?"
My guess is still riding on Chacon, but who knows, maybe Paulie has some surprises left

I dont know about Spaddy, I only saw Spadafora fight once and I wasnt very impressed to be honest ,he looked like he fought off one side only. Bit like Darchinian used to but not so crab like and hookey.
Anyway I couldnt belive that any fighter hadnt yet worked out how to beat someone who uses only one arm.
Maybe that was just the one fight I saw and he had a sore hand or something /not sure, anyway /not impressed by him then and wish I could remember the fighter he was against cause he couldnt have been too great not to have worked it all out on the night.
So is that his style, to fight very side on? Or you think he was probably wounded?
He looked really good against Manfreddy, when he works out he's very talented. He has a bad habit of not telling anyone when he's hurt so its very possible he was hurt in the fight you saw. When he's on his game,he's got talent, even now.
He really could have been something special, and the reason he isnt regarded that way is nobodies fault but his own.
Again its just what Ive heard from people who have been in his camps, but its really a shame that he doesnt have a work ethic to match his talent.
