You post well,i feel the fight happenin with your post.I fear that if Manny pounding on HATTON dominantly,...Ricky mite lose his cool and go head on toe to toe against PAC'S crisp punches.....i say AMEN.LOL

Morales beat Manny and many will argue that Marquez beat him too. De La Hoya was in such terrible condition he could hardly fight back.
I don't remember any of them knocking out Pac with the body shot.

And oh, Pac defeated Marquez. Only delusional haters will dispute that.
Most "expert" writers must be delusional haters too then because they all had Marquez winning by a couple of points.

It's the Pac fans who seem more deluded to me.

Not reckless pressure, but pressure with method.
NICE....but i advise hit Manny with powershots at the body when ever possible.
Most definitely, if the opportunities present themselves, especially if Hatton is in close, he should unload with full force at Pacs body. Work Pac over top and bottom.

Sorry but i really thought JMM did pretty well on that fight.Unfortunately the fight was the judges' call.Next time ,IF EVER THERE WILL BE....JMM SHOULD TRY TO KO THE PAC.

I think Hatton needs to stick with what brought him. This is the wrong opponent and fight to go changing shite up and feeling the obligation to 'need' to switch it up because Pacquioa is so very blessed.ugh.He needs to smother Pacqiuoa firstly and get inside of Pacquioas left,Hatton is a sucker for the left....make it physical and shorten hooks to the torso, dont be afraid to make it muggish.Oh yeah...whos the ref .Hatton is the naturally bigger, more physical guy BUT do not sit on the outside over thinking things and believing himself an at range boxer,Manny is a much better straight hitter, but Contrary to some,Manny is no Mayweather.

Hatton is being underrated by a lot of people. His only close fight at 140 was against Kostya and that was nigh on 4 years ago and even he gave up in the end. Hatton has had a couple of dalliances at 147 where the extra size becomes too much, but at 140 Hatton will always be the stronger man.

As far as I'm concerned, it is Manny who will need to pull something out the bag. He is on a roll since "losing" to Marquez, in fighting a crappy 135 champ and being lucky enough to beat a punching bag in Oscar. If Pac makes it a close fight in the end I will be very impressed because it is Manny who has it all to prove. As soon as Hatton does away with Manny, people will immediately say he beat a smaller man who had no business being at JWW.

He did very well. Unfortunately, we all know boxing judges are not always precise in what they do. And they made a slip here. Having said that Manny was competitive at all points, but Marquez outboxed him over 12.

I won't dwell on it here though, because the thread wasn't intended to discuss that, and it has been discussed elsewhere anyways.

Let's just say that it was a very controversial "win".

Rather call it a 'gift win' for Manny. From whomI think we all have ideas from whom the gift came from.lol

fyi...i got the heat from boxing peers here in my place for my views on the controversial fight.

Its always nice to see a unbiased Pacfan!
    Hatton's win:
    Body Shots
Pac might not be able to handle Hatton's punches (on chin or body)
    Pac cant handle the weight
    Pac's win:
Hatton can't handle hit power (on chin or body)
    Too high of a workrate
    Too fast

    Thats how i see it.

Ive seen some HATTON fights on video,it seems he never backs off.He never had lateral moves. He just keeps on charging in front of his foes.
IMO,this is a big no no,vs. Pacquiao...hope he adjust his style of fighting vs. Pac.

    just an observation...

Roach is predicting an early KO coz he knows hatton won't be able to change his style easily. he will always go back to his charging style.

I'm predicting Hatton to be TKOed by an uppercut like Pac's past opponent from Thailand if he keeps on charging. I forgot the thai's name but he has the same style as Hatton's.

Yeah,i can sense a big national pride in HATTON...call it ...whatever,but he should leave this pride back home in England.
