I don't recall anyone slating Andrade for losing virtually every round to Lucian Bute before almost stopping him.
He showed a great deal tonight, he's got the power to hurt anybody, clinical finishing instincts and he can overcome adversity and pick himself up off the floor to win.
Nobody can tell me that that wasn't the best Jermain Taylor in there tonight, he was in sensational shape and gave everything he had.
It gets tiring that everyone slates our British fighters. He did the business tonight, and showed that when his back is against the wall he can pull out something special to win.
Of all the other guys who people have said would beat him easily we cannot say that of them. Bute almost crumbled against his first real decent test and finished the fight unable to stand, Kessler when he stepped up to world class was beaten in a competitive but clear fashion to Joe Calzaghe, Pavlik got shown up against Bernard Hopkins, Andrade has twice failed in his step up fights but Froch has managed to pull off two great wins back to back and in exciting fashion.
He's the most entertaining 168 lber without a doubt and will learn a tremendous amount from this fight with Taylor.
For me along with Kessler he's the man to beat in the division. In fact none of the 168 lb guys have a win over a fighter more impressive than Jermain Taylor.
He's just made himself a star tonight, well done Carl Froch.
