Nothing went wrong. Just more Hatton excuses. He's just good enough at that level. Anyone that charges in at someone like Manny Pac with his guard down is asking for trouble.

Something tells me that we will see the same kind of KO in Klitsch-Haye fight.

    BANDWAGON JUMPERS.

Manny is truly great but he is a fad. When he loses next, and it will happen, he will lose half of his fan base. Watch and see.

And after your extensive 12, or 15 post you know everyone here so well and who they rooted for before or after the Morales fight how?

What on earth is the guy raving about exactly?

    Bandwagon jumpers?

I think people have saluted Manny on a top win and the same Hatton fans are still Hatton fans. It's just that we all know Ricky can fight a lot better than he did, hardly bandwagon jumping is it now? Some people!

Hatton wasnt in the right frame of mind blah blah, im sorry but the guy is a fourty odd fight vet who has been in some of the biggest fights in boxing, plain and simple Hatton is done, im not using that as an excuse i think Pac would possibly beat him at anytime in his career, but Hatton punch resistance has gone.

Haton should not fight again he will eb knocked out by anyone with any sort of power the writing on the wall was there in the Lazcano figth and i actully thought Paulie would beat him, but we all know Paulie is also done.

I think it is obvious Hatton lost a step (a few steps actually). Not to take anything away from Pac but Hatton hasnt been in his prime for a while now.....Hatton's style makes for a short career and that is evidenced here. Pac has also been in some wars but his body is able to physically take it better than Hatton's....

The Hatton that fought Kostya would have at least given Pac a run for his money.....I am not saying he would have beat Pac because I cant but he would have at least been competitive.

Pac is a rare fighter, we all need to appreciate him for what he is - A great fighter that is willing to fight the best and doesnt dodge anyone unlike many of the top fighters of the last 10 years....

Next everyone will be asking, What went wrong in Mayweather camp? The fact is, is that Manny is pure and bonified thorough bred. This guy is a machine and hes on a path of destruction. If, and I say IF Mayweather gets my marquez he has a rude awakening waiting for him from the hands of the Pac Man.

If you think that the Hatton that fought Kostya would have given Manny a run you must mean that he would have gotten KO'd in 3 rounds instead of 2. It would be no different at any point in hattons career. Manny is just a far superior fighter and athelete than Hatton ever was.

I disagree. Hatton just fought the worst tactical fight of his career and paid the price. The best Hatton makes it a much tougher, closer fight than what it was.

First of all, I'm nowhere near new to boxing forums but you're right.....I don't know what people here thought before or after Morales, and it doesn't matter. What I do know though is that almost every time I post something in regaurds to Hatton I immediately start getting hateful reply's from dense members who want nothing more than to 'big up' Manny because they are ball-huggers due to his wins lately. These fans didn't exist a few months back. This is what I'm talking about and don't take it personally if it doesn't apply to you. I said 'allot of yall', not everyone.
no offense, but there was a LARGE number of Pac fans before the fight on this forum.. I don't know one poster who has all of a sudden become a pac fan or was bragging about how good he is now, and wasn't before the fight.. Pac fans on this site, unfortuntely are way over the top about it, but it's something that grows on you..

as far as the topic goes, i don't think anything went "wrong" in the hatton camp that determined the outcome of the fight.. Assuming hatton was working a bit more on defense and on his jab in training, we didn't see that in the fight.. we saw vintage, old school hatton and nothing more.. that was what went wrong. I really doubt that Mayweather said, "Just do what you always do".. which is why i believe he was so pissed after the fight at the whole situation..
