For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.

Alexis was a great fighter. I always liked to watch his fight's on the old VHS tapes that my father taped but I can't really show much repsect to a man who killed himself.

RIP Mr. Arguello.

A great Champion and a kind person. R.I.P.

He was a great champion, he was a 5 stars class man, gentleman and he was one of the best example you could display to convince any reluctant persons that Boxing wasn't only filled with dumbnuts with a lust for violence and blood. He will be missed by everyone, including the scene he did contribute so greatly toward the years.
Alexis, from the world down here, with our pints full and our arms raised up, we salute you.

have to agree, whatever your reason for the comment whether it's based on religion of confusion. As the saying goes unless you have walked a mile in anothers shoes...
having worked in the mental health business I know how easy it is for that switch to be hit for some, RIP Champ.

I am paying my respects to a popular and respected fighter. A class act in and outside of the ring.

Great fighter and classy guy out of the ring. But does anyone find it strange for a man to commit suicide by shooting himself in the chest as reported? Actually it's reported that he died from a gunshot wound to the chest.
What the hell is up with all these celebrities and legends dying!?!?!?!?! These last 4 weeks have been bothing but deaths![]()
First David Carradine, the next week Misawa, the next week Ed McMahon, Farah Fawcett, Michael Jackson and Billy Mays, and now Alexis Arguello?!!??! What the hell!!
