I just can't picture Cotto playing golf.![]()
Yep. 'Saw the same hbo feature with Chi and Miguel. The fencing thing with the golf club was funny. Chi was concern about Cotto breaking his own thumb in the course. Lol.
Suspicious activity. GBP is so desperate right now. Their prospects are dropping like flies. They're stars are aging out. And they're willing to steal someone elses fighter. Even Mosely traveled to Australia and begged the 33 year old Darchinyan to sign up. Tsk tsk!
if i was miguel cotto, i would not blame him for takin a contract off odlh, imagine if u was in cottos shoes and bob arum was siding with a fighter who was usin illegal ways to beat a fighter(margarito), if i was miguel cotto i would take the 1 million £ advance, and fukk arum off
All's good and all's fair, as long as Oscar doesn't play favorites.
It may be frowned upon, if Oscar de la Hoya tried too hard and managed to convince Cotto that Pacquiao lacks power. Even more so a bit distasteful if he then provides the Cotto camp the superior knowledge in nutrition- the special diet at keeping trim at 145 lbs till weigh day without much of an effort.
Both tidbits were Oscar dela Hoya's special guidelines for his campaign in his duel against Pacquiao. It was a bit unsuccesful against Pac, only because came fight night, surprise, surprise, dela Hoya became weight drained. All those weeks with the same 145 lbs he carried in training till weigh-in day did not give a tiny hint of this possibility.
So all's good and who knows, maybe it could prove to be a charm the second time around!
The first tidbit, that being Pacquiao's lack of firepower so thoroughly convinced his friend Hatton that he listened to and adhered to it zealously. Unfortunately, as Ricky soon found out in his fight against Pac, having zero punch resistance is still a handicap even if matched against a lesser puncher.
As a direct result of these briefs, reinforced by Oscar's airtight credibility, the odds of betting heavily tilting in Miguel Cotto's favor may significantly increase. LOL!
I just hope that it does not give Cotto too much of a decided advantage in pre-fight preparations! Pacquiao could be in real danger!![]()
Cotto deserves better than that c*nt Arum, who I think is desperate to match him with Pacquiao because he wants to cash out on Cotto, whose next fight is his last with Top Rank.
If real life had those "movie-fantasy" moments... I'd like to see Cotto and a handful of other boxers promoting a fight between Don King and Bob Arum.
It'd be a bare-knuckle affair, 20-round minimum, with the purse being withheld if the fight did not go the minimum 20 rounds. Oh.... and it'd be outdoors under the midday sun in say... sunny Arizona.
And Cotto would be smiling from ear to ear and waving tiny little U.S. flags and standing behind Don King in the corner, urging him to kick Bob Arum's ass.
Finally, after the fight was over, it would be announced that Cotto and company would get 99.5 percent of the total gate and PPV revenues.
Oh... sweet justice.
