SADDO BOXING OFFICIAL RATINGS UPDATE - As of July 13, 2009

HEAVYWEIGHT:

Alexander Dimitrenko (previously ninth) falls two spots into the pool. Number nine becomes vacant along with tenth.


CRUISERWEIGHT:

Grigory Drozd enters the pool with an impressive performance in becoming the 1st ever to stop durable Darnell Wilson.


LIGHT-HEAVYWEIGHT:

Chris Henry enters the pool following his knockout of Shawn George.


Jr. LIGHTWEIGHT:

Takashi Miura enters the ratings at number nine after scoring a dramatic 7th round stoppage victory over previously unbeaten Yoshimitsu Yashiro.


BANTAMWEIGHT:

Sasha Bakhtin enters the pool after stopping Indonesian Richard Samosir in eight rounds. Undefeated Kohei Ohba also enters the pool with his unanimous decision over Umano.

SADDOBOXING OFFICIAL RATINGS – As of July 19, 2009

SUPER-MIDDLEWEIGHT:

Arthur Abraham (formerly second at middleweight) enters the pool as he intends to campaign at this new weight.


MIDDLEWEIGHT:

Arthur Abraham (previously second) exits the middleweight ratings to campaign at super-middle. Felix Sturm, Sebastian Sylvester, Khoren Gevor, Anthony Mundine, David Lopez and Amin Asikainen all advance one spot to fill the void. There are now three vacancies with eighth, ninth and tenth unoccupied.


Jr. MIDDLEWEIGHT:

Daniel Santos (previously eight) is moved to the pool due to over a year’s inactivity. Joachim Alcine (formerly in the pool) exits, as he has also been inactive.


Jr. LIGHTWEIGHT:

Undefeated Kevin Mitchell enters the rankings at number ten.


FEATHERWEIGHT:

Cristobal Cruz (previously eight) rockets to forth by scoring a unanimous decision over Jorge Solis, who plummets three places to seventh. Hiroyuki Enoki is pushed down one from seventh to eighth with Solis’ demotion. Israel Vasquez enters the pool as he plans to continue his career at this weight.


Jr. FEATHERWEIGHT:

Israel Vasquez (formerly first) has been removed from the ratings and moved to the pool at feather due to inactivity and the fact that he intends to campaign at the higher weight. Celestino Caballero, Juan Manuel Lopez, Steve Molitor, Bernard Dunne, Ricardo Cordoba, Daniel Ponce DeLeon, Poonsawat Kratingdaeggym, Toshiaki Nishioka & Rendall Munroe all progress up a spot each to fill the gap at the top. Number ten becomes vacant.

SADDOBOXING OFFICIAL RATINGS – As of July 26, 2009

CRUISERWEIGHT:

Undefeated Denis Lebedev enters the pool with his punishing third round stoppage of Enzo Maccarinelli. Maccarinelli is removed from the pool having suffered three KO losses in his last four starts. Enad Licina also enters the pool based on his recent form and opposition.


MIDDLEWEIGHT:

Paul Williams moves from the pool into the vacant eighth position, based on his impressive performance against Winky Wright.


Jr. MIDDLEWEIGHT:

Jamie Moore who last lost in 2004 enters at number ten having fought a host of solid competition.


WELTERWEIGHT:

Selcuk Aydin enters the pool by stopping well-regarded pool member Jackson Bonsu. Bonsu is removed from the pool with the loss.


Jr. WELTERWEIGHT:

Amir Khan (in the pool at lightweight) crashes the ratings at number seven with his unanimous decision over Andreas Kotelnik. Kotelnik falls from seventh to ninth. Ricardo Torres is forced down one from nith to tenth with Kotelnik’s demotion and Herman Ngoudjo is squeezed out of the ratings to the pool.


LIGHTWEIGHT:

Miguel Vasquez enters at number ten with his upset split decision victory over previously undefeated Breidis Prescott. Prescott exits the pool with the setback. Antonio DeMarco enters the pool after stopping Anges Adjaho in nine rounds.


FEATHERWEIGHT:

Elio Rojas leaps into number five scoring a unanimous over Takahiro Aoh. Aoh (formerly fifth) slumps two places to seventh. Which forces Jorge Solis down one to eight. Ryol-Li Lee enters at nine after outpointing Hiroyuki Enoki who falls two spots from ninth into the pool. Martin Honorio is also forced out of the ratings with the entry of Rojas and Lee.


Jr. FLYWEIGHT:

Katsunari Takayama exits the pool after his loss the Roman Gonzalez (number one at Strawweight) at the lower weight.

SADDOBOXING OFFICIAL RATINGS – As of July 31, 2009

HEAVYWEIGHT:

Undefeated American Chris Arreola enters at number nine having KO’d Jameel McCline in his last fight.


SUPER-MIDDLEWEIGHT:

Jeff Lacy is removed from the pool as his most recent fight was at Light-heavyweight and he is set to face Roy Jones (tenth at Light-heavy) in his next fight. His last fight at Super-middlewight was a decision loss to Jermain Taylor (forth at Super-middle) in November 2008.


MIDDLEWEIGHT:

Randy Griffin exits the pool due to inactivity.


Jr. MIDDLEWEIGHT:

Vernon Forrest (formerly number one) is removed from the ratings due to his tragic death. Everyone rated second through ten last time advances one position each creating a vacancy at tenth that is filled by Deandre Latimore who is coming of a close split-decision loss to Cory Spinks (now forth at Jr. Middle).


WELTERWEIGHT:

Carlos Quintana (in the pool at Jr. Middle) leaves the pool, as he has not fought at Welter since being blown out in one round by Paul Williams (second at Jr. Middle and eighth at middle) in June of 2008.


LIGHTWEIGHT:

Miguel Acosta enters at number nine after scoring an explosive ninth round KO over previously undefeated Urbano Antillon. Antillon plummets two places from ninth to land in the pool. Amir Khan is removed from the pool, as he is now ranked seventh at Jr. Welter. Yuri Romanov also exits the pool based on the fact that he has not fought in over a year.


Jr. BANTAMWEIGHT:

Alexander Munoz exits the pool as he has not fought at this weight in over a year & recently competed at a higher weight. Undefeated Hernan Marquez enters at ninth after his decision victory over solid Juan Esquer.


Jr. FLYWEIGHT:

Juanito Rubillar is removed from the pool after being stopped by fifth rated Giovanni Segura.


STRAWWEIGHT:

Manuel Vargas enters at number ten with wins over Daniel Reyes and Walter Tello.

Devon Alexander smashes his way into the ratings at number eight after forcing Junior Witter to quit in the eighth. Witter (previously rated eighth) plummets three places to land in the pool. Victor Cayo enters the pool after winning an upset decision over Julio Diaz (number six at lightweight)


Jr. BANTAMWEIGHT:

Dimitri Kirilov (formerly seventh) is removed from the ratings to the pool due to inactivity. Hugo Cazares and Kohei Kono move up to seventh and eighth respectively. Number nine becomes vacant along with tenth.

Jr. WELTERWEIGHT:

Ricardo Torres (previously tenth) is removed to the pool, as he has not fought at this weight in over a year. Number ten becomes vacant.


LIGHTWEIGHT:

Julio Diaz (formerly sixth) is removed to the pool after suffering two defeats in a row; a KO to Rolando Reyes (now rated fifth) followed by a decision loss to Victor Cayo (now in the pool at Jr. welter). Michael Katsidis, Edwin Valero, Miguel Acosta & Miguel Vasquez all move up on place to fill the gap. Number ten becomes vacant. Jorge Barrios (previously in the pool at Jr. Light) moves into the pool as he is now campaigning at this weight.


Jr. LIGHTWEIGHT:

Jorge Barrios (now in the pool at Lightweight) exits the pool as he is now fighting at the higher weight.


FEATHERWEIGHT:

Oscar Larios has announced his retirement; therefore he is removed from the pool.

Nonito Donaire enters at number nine after defeating pool member Rafael Concepcion. Concepcion who came in over weight exits the pool after the loss.

SUPER-MIDDLEWEIGHT:

Robert Stieglitz enters at number seven after stopping Karoly Balzsay who was previously rated there. Balzsay tumbles three places to number ten with the loss. Andre Dirrell is squeezed out of number ten into the pool to accommodate Stieglitz’s entry.


Jr. WELTERWEIGHT:

Juan Diaz (number two at Lightweight) enters at number five after winning a close decision over Paulie Malignaggi. Malignaggi only drops one rung due to the closeness of the contest. Juan Urango, Amir Khan, Devon Alexander and Andreas Kotelnik are all pushed down a position with the admission of Diaz.


Jr. LIGHTWEIGHT:

Robert Guerrero soars from seventh to second after dominating Malcolm Klassen who plummets two spots to forth. Cassius Baloyi, Roman Martinez & Urbano Antillon are all forced down one place to accommodate Guerrero’s advancement. Humberto Mauro Gutierrez enters the pool after winning a close decision over previously unbeaten pool member Sergey Gulyakevich.


FLYWEIGHT:

Julio Cesar Miranda enters the pool after recently stopping Eric Ortiz in less than a round. Jesus Jimenez also enters the pool after destroying normally durable Santiago Ivan Acosta in four rounds.

CRUISERWEIGHT:

Victor Emilio Ramirez is removed from the pool after losing to forth ranked Marco Huck.


LIGHT-HEAVYWEIGHT:

Tavoris Cloud leaps from the pool to number seven after scoring a unanimous decision over Clinton Woods (formerly seventh). Woods falls three places to land at tenth. Roy Jones Jr. is pushed from tenth to the pool with Cloud’s entry.


WELTERWEIGHT:

Jesus Soto Karass enters the pool, on his victory over Edvan dos Santos Barros.


Jr. FEATHERWEIGHT:

Lorenza Parra is removed from the pool due to inactivity.


Jr. BANTAMWEIGHT:

AJ Banal drops from pool after three fights at Bantamweight and his last fight at this weight being a loss.


FLYWEIGHT:

Xiang Zhao Zhong exits the pool after suffering his third loss in a row.

Sam Peter is demoted one position to seventh. Juan Carlos Gomez advances a spot into Peters old place at six.


LIGHT-HEAVYWEIGHT:

Clinton Woods (formerly number ten) is removed as he has announced his retirement. Roy Jones Jr. sneaks back from the pool to fill the gap at tenth.


SUPER-MIDDLEWEIGHT:

Denis Inkin is demoted one position from nine to ten. Karoly Balzsay moves up a notch to ninth to sit above Inkin who he holds a victory over.


Jr. LIGHTWEIGHT:

Urbano Antillon (formerly seventh and still in the pool at Lightweight) exits the division ratings as his last three fights have been at Lightweight and he has not fought at this weight in over a year. Mzonke Fana, Takashi Miura & Kevin Mitchell all move up a notch with tenth becoming vacant.


BANTAMWEIGHT:

Z. Gorrez (formerly fifth at Jr. Bantam) enters the pool having fought his last two fights at this weight.


Jr. BANTAMWEIGHT:

Z. Gorrez (previously fifth) is moved from the ratings to the pool at Bantam, as his last two fights have been at that weight and he has not fought at this weight for over a year. Daiki Kameda, Hugo Cazares, Kohei Kono, Nonito Donaire, all move up one to fill the gap whilst undefeated nineteen-year-old Marvin Sonsona who had just won the vacant tenth position with his unanimous decision over pool member Jose Lopez slides up one to ninth.


FLYWEIGHT:

Luis Concepcion breaks into the ratings at number eight after stopping Omar Salado. Salado (previously eighth) falls three places to land in the pool.


Jr. FLYWEIGHT:

Brahim Asloum is removed from the pool as he has not fought at this weight since 2007 and has announced his retirement.

Sergio Mora (previously fifth) is moved to the pool because he has not fought in over a year. Sergei Dzindziruk, James Kirkland, Kermit Cintron, Jamie Moore and Deandre Latimore all move up a notch, with number ten becoming vacant.


LIGHTWEIGHT:

Joel Casamayor (previously third) is dropped to the pool due to inactivity. Ali Funeka, Rolando Reyes, Michael Katsidis, Edwin Valero, Miguel Acosta and Miguel Vazquez all advance one place. Number nine becomes vacant with tenth.


Jr. BANTAMWEIGHT:

Cristian Mijares (formerly forth) is removed from the ratings altogether after suffering three loses in a row. Daiki Kameda, Hugo Cazares, Kohei Kono, Nonito Donaire and Marvin Sonsona all increase one position. Number nine is now vacant; the same as tenth. Takafumi Sakata (formerly number seven at Flyweight) enters the pool as he is now fighting at this weight.


FLYWEIGHT:

Takafumi Sakata (previously seventh) exits the ratings for the pool at Jr. Bantamweight as he is now campaigning at that weight. Luis Concepcion, Moruti Mthalane and Zolani Tete all move up one, while number 10 becomes vacant.

Marco Antonio Rubio is removed from the pool as he has not fought in the time he has been listed there and his last fight being a stoppage to number one rated Kelly Pavlik.


WELTERWEIGHT:

Floyd Mayweather Jr. enters at number ten after putting on a clinic against Jun Manuel Marquez (number one at lightweight).


LIGHTWEIGHT:

Vincente Escobedo is removed from the pool after losing to fifth ranked Michael Katsidis.


Jr. LIGHTWEIGHT:

Daud Yordan is moved from this pool to the featherweight pool, as he has been fighting there recently.


FEATHERWEIGHT:

Chris John (previously number one) claims the vacant championship with his victory over Rocky Juarez (who entered at third). Steve Luevano advances from second to first. Cristobal Cruz, Elio Rojas and Mario Santiago all jump two places to second, third and forth respectively while Rocky Juarez plummets three spots to fifth (after moving to second with John’s ascension to champion). Daud Yordan (previously in the pool at Jr. Lightweight) enters the pool having fought his last two fights here. Billy Dib is removed from the pool as he has only recorded a one round no contest in the six months he has been listed here.


Jr. FEATHERWEIGHT:

Rafael Marquez (in the pool at Feather as well) exits the pool here as he is looking to continue fighting as a featherweight.


BANTAMWEIGHT:

Roberto Vasquez (formerly ninth and still in the pool at Jr. Bantam) is removed as he has not fought at this weight in over a year. Eric Morel advances a spot to ninth while tenth becomes vacant.


Jr. BANTAMWEIGHT:

Simphiwe Nongqayi leaps from the pool to number three after defeating Jorge Arce who held that position last time. Arce falls three places to sixth. Kohei Kono, Nonito Donaire and Marvin Sonsona are all pushed down a spot with Arce’s demotion.

CRUISERWEIGHT:

Firat Arslan (formerly seventh) is removed to the pool due to inactivity. Giocobbe Fragomeni, Vadim Tokarev and BJ Flores all advance one position while tenth becomes vacant.


MIDDLEWEIGHT:

Matthew Macklin jumps from the pool to number seven after stopping Amin Asikainen (formerly seventh). Asikainen is removed to the pool after losing two of his last three fights.


Jr. MIDDLEWEIGHT:

James Kirkland is removed altogether after receiving a two year prison sentence. Kermit Cintron, Jamie Moore and Deandre Latimore all advance one spot each to fill the gap. Number nine becomes vacant like tenth.


Jr. FEATHERWEIGHT:

Thailand’s Poonsawat Kratingdaenggym (previously seventh) leaps to forth after annihilating Bernard Dunne who was rated there last week. Dunne tumbles 3 spots to land in the Thai’s old position at seventh.

HEAVYWEIGHT:

Sam Peter is demoted one position to eighth. David Haye overtakes Peter moving up a notch to seventh.


MIDDLEWEIGHT:

Matthew Macklin is demoted a position from seventh to eighth. Paul Williams (previously number eight) advances ahead of Macklin to seven based of his more important win over Winky Wright.


WELTERWEIGHT:

Antonio Margarito (formerly third) is moved to the pool on the basis of his one-year ban. Andre Berto, Joshua Clottey, Luis Collazo, Isaac Hlatswayo, Zab Judah, Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr. all move up one spot leaving number ten vacant.


BANTAMWEIGHT:

Michael Domingo enters the pool after stopping Jose Navarro (a Jr. Bantam pool member going in).


Jr. BANTAMWEIGHT:

Undefeated Drian Francisco earns the vacant tenth ranking after becoming the first to stop Roberto Vasquez. Vasquez is removed from the pool after suffering two loses in a row. Jose Navarro is also removed from the pool due to inactivity and losing his last three, the last of which was at Bantam.

HEAVYWEIGHT:

Odlanier Solis enters the pool after stopping Monte Barrett in two rounds.


Jr. LIGHTWEIGHT:

Undefeated Juan Carlos Salgado crashes the ratings at number three after crushing the man who previously held that spot Jorge Linares in one round. Linares tumbles three places to sixth. Roman Martinez, Mzonke Fana, Takashi Miura and Kevin Mitchell all slide down a position to accommodate Salgado’s entry.


FEATHERWEIGHT:

Undefeated Satoshi Hosono enters the pool after defeating Hiroyuki Enoki. Enoki exits the pool after now losing two fights in a row.


Jr. FEATHERWEIGHT:

Rogers Mtagwa enters the pool after nearly upsetting current number two Juan Manuel Lopez.


Jr. FLYWEIGHT:

Ryo Miyazaki enters the pool after defeating Munetsugu Kayo who is removed from the pool after the loss.


STRAWWEIGHT:

Ronald Barrera is removed from the pool as his only fight in the last six months was a stoppage loss to current number two Raul Garcia.
