I have to disagree with that really. I don't think Pacfan has ever been out of line in the things he posts about. In fact, when all the nutjobs Pacquiao fanatics had overrun the forum he was often held up as an example of how a person can be a Pacquiao fan and not an idiot.
Get off your pedestal
But really, I haven't seen any rampant disrespect floating around. I'm guessing Saddo's is one of, if not the most, respectful boxing forums around.
If you are going to make such a bold claim then you have to at least name names so a flame war will start![]()
I didn't think his thread was that bad. Perhaps I got the wrong impression from it but I felt that he was just comparing the significance of PBF's win over Marquez to Pacquiao's victory over Dela Hoya. While I feel it's a bit of a flawed premise, I can understand how a comparison could be made in terms of the significance of both those fights.
And let me add. What surprised me a bit was that I wasn't even saying anything particularly good about Pacquiao there and not only that, I came back on this board just last week and it's almost a year since I've said anything about Pac here...
Thanks CFH, I owe you a rep...
Once in awhile, get outside in fresh air, take a deep breath & with a deep sigh, let out all the things that's bottled up inside you & be free, & you'll get a glimpse of nirvana.
Much like Pac had a crazy while after his fight, so should Mayweather. This logic from our longest running board member (I think?) Saddo. You can't stifle enthusiasm. And if ya do, what's the point in even being here?
What a person has to ask themselves is, why am I posting in sucha manner? Did your guy just win last night? last week? or was it 3 months ago? Are you espressing your brand new emotion, or are ya looking to provoke one from others. These are the differences I believe between good and genuine fanfare, and borderline trolling.
And sometimes it may be hard to tell the difference as the lines can get blurred, but mostly, it is fairly obvious. Save others the trouble of figuring it out, and ask yourself the question. And yea, let the Mayweather people relish their moment, cuz damn, that was something to watch.
