I think 1 thing most of us martial artists have in common is a certain paranoia and ability to anticipate danger and aggression, before it happens.

By paranoia I mean, when going somewere I am always aware of my surroundings In my mind I size up the people I encounter and on a night out I always have my eye on the idiotic group in the room and steer clear.. A lot of times I keep a subtle but solid base as well as keeping my hands up as I gesture while talking.. Just a few subtle ways to be prepared and makes me feel comfortable

Its called a traffic light system mate. I use it all the time. Green is completely oblivious to anything going on and not wary of anything. Amber means you are slightly aware...maybe someone is walking behind you making you feel uneasy, or a situtaion is brewing across the road from you. Red is fight or flight almost...completely switched on to anything.

If i go into a place i always make a note of the exits and prefer to sit with my back to a wall and watch the fron exit so i can see as much as possible around me...hahah fucking crazy eh?...

Ideally you should alwasy be somewhere between green and amber because its the ones in green listening to their iPod, away with the fairies that get the knife pulled on them.

Les appears to be drunk, which would explain his shocking punch resistance. And the fact he keeps shouting "go on do it" for two hours instead of actually attacking the fat guy makes me think there was more to that than the video tells

well, when he did 'do it' les didn't like it.

I dunno about being drunk there are tons foul aggressive idiots roaming round acting the big man tyring to scare folk. Most of the time it's lip. As in the clip those who do 'do it' don't often say much and just smack ya.

I would have thought being drunk would hinder your balance but make you impervious to pain.

Did anyone used to watch In Bed With Me Dinner? They had a great clip of a drunk chubby sitting on a wall, axe wound in his head, blood all over his shirt, chewing gum. Coppers come over to check him out. Yeah he's fine, doesn't need to go the hospital. Geezer...wonder if there's a clip.

These kind of kids are ten a plenty throughout the uk

Thankfully they dont really deal with guns/knives etc thats more of a designated issue within britain. But these types of louts who wanna make life a misery for the elderly and fragile are all over the place.

9 times out of 10 theyve never actually had a fight in their lives and more often than not when someone does stand up to them they end up taking a beating. These type of chavs taking a hiding videos are not too shocking considering that apart from having the mouth they dont have a clue how to back it up
