Am I off topic I mean I am talking about Obama and how he is having a difficult time with very meaningful decisions as it is, without having to worry about the ramifications if he pardons Jack Johnson

Personally i think there way more important shit for the pres to worry about than a posthumous pardon. Things like people being laid off because of the economy and the silly ongoing war...

So many more pressing important decisions to be made in the U.S. then worrying about a pardon for something that happened nearly 100 years ago, put this on the far back burner and work on the millions of issues at hand like (JOBS) in the millions that are gone, quit wasting time on an issue that has no merit to waste time on at this time. Mixed races are accepted, but should it consume the government and take away from real pressing issues at this time.

Why are you naysayers acting like this is some huge undertaking that will "consume the government"? That's ridiculous, all he has to do is sign his fucking name and maybe make a short statement, and it's done.

There's no need to get abusive to ElTerrible just because he thinks it's completely irrelevant to bring up here, particularly when there's at least 2 other boards for this thing. 3 if you include spam, which if you turn this into being about Obama, is where this should end up.

Are Obama's past actions as President not relevant in predicting his future actions?

And don't come on here and call me out for staying with the topic when YOU attack me for getting OFF topic when I mention David Haye in various threads...you can't have it both ways.

Well OK, you guys don't want to play along...I'll just go ahead type out my final FINAL post in this thread and we'll be done

#1 The answer to my question is OBAMA. Barrack Obama has the final say in the Presidential Pardon of Jack Johnson.
#2 I was going to ask you if you would describe Obama as "decisive" or "indecisive" when it comes to any political problems he encounters
#3 The correct answer would be that Barrack Obama is INDECISIVE that is concluded from his failures to act on certain important situations affect the entire world right as we sit here typing and reading.
#4 My point is that Barrack Obama is indecisive and fails to act on even the big issues and therefore it will be a long time before we hear an answer on this if we hear one at all.

I want to just throw my 2 cents in on this whole issue, Jack Johnson has been dead for a long time, he was the first African-American Heavyweight Champion of the World and I think enough time has passed that all whom would be affected by any decision to pardon the late Champ are dead as well and therefore Obama shouldn't even have to think about it, just stamp him pardoned and then think he could have a press conference with McCain and that would be viewed as a solid BIPARTISAN bridge building political move (by a few people).

Also, politically he can't catch hell for being soft on crime (and his party is NOTORIOUSLY soft on crime) by pardoning a dead guy, it's not like Zombie Jack Johnson is going to come around gathering up all the white women prostitutes and dragging them across state lines again.

But once again I digress, Obama is currently very slow to act on much of anything.
