Just playing the devil's advocate here, and not trying to spoil anyones fun, but he could just be using the example of Roy going over to Australia to fight in his opponents hometown as a justification as to why he never went over to Europe to fight guys in their home towns. You know what I mean? Doesn't necessarily mean he thought Australia was in Europe, maybe he was just trying to illustrate why he never wanted to go to a foreign land to fight an opponent in their home town.

Jones had visited Australia a few times before, he made a movie there. Australia was not un familiar to Roy Jones Jr.

Bernard to my knowledge has never been asked to fight in Australia so why would he say 'That's why I never fight in Australia?'.

Of course he said 'That's why I never take fights in Europe', because that's what he's often been accused of being scared to do.

It in no way implies he thinks Australia is in Europe, he's just relating Roy's disaster down under to his own career and explaining why he never took up any of those European offers.
