Totally agree now way Clottey makes 144 and if he does he will be the walking dead.
Dont get me wrong I like Pacquiao but it really pisses me off when he wants to fight at welter weight but then makes his opponent come down to a catch weight. Yes his opponents can always say no but it still pisses me off. He can fight De La Hoya at 147 but makes Cotto and Clottey come down to 144. If you want to fight a welter weight then then fight at the 147 weight not catchweight!

Clottey couldn't make 144 when he was six. Fuc all that crap. Josh is a welter so the fight should be there. For the 147 title not 144. Everyone wants to give pac all this credit for fighting bigger guys, then fight bigger guys. Quit adjusting all these fights to suit your needs and make things easier then cry about other fighters doing the same. Besides you're just giving clottey excuse no 147,142 if he looses.

1. Manny Pacquiao had 1 Catweight fight. the 145 contracted weight againts the previous 146 at the scale Cotto.

2. Bernard Hopkins, Oscar Delahoya, Pernell Whitaker, JCC, SRL all had more catchweight fights than pacquiao

3. Malinnagi-Diaz were even at catchweights.

You can blame Michael Koncz for this shit. In fact Pacman made a mistake having him as an advisor. Didn't he say that Pacman was afraid of needles or something?

Pacman's image has taken an enormous hit and it looks like he's got bad advice. And Koncz is one of them.
