Finishing out of the top 4 would suck for various reasons but it could get the attention of the players make, them play harder and we could come back with a vengence next season!

Liverpool isn't a horrible team this season we've just got bad luck paired with bad decision making. Injuries plus Rafa's quirkiness have ruined this season but one of those issues is EASILY solved
If you don't get into the Champions League i'd be surprised to see you making any real moves in the transfer market.
