then you bet your ass Mosley can land big enough to win by KO. It only takes one.
So marquez did actually land a punch during the fight......i look at the fight the same way just in a different perspective. If mayorga, v forrest (twice), winky (twice), cotto, and collazo can give shane problems then floyd sure a hell will. This fight will be boring imo. Floyd will beat him easy. Very very true statement above, it does only take one, but it's the hundred or so potshots floyd will land in return that that will give him the easy decision. I'm not so quick to look at the past weight differences in this fight. No one shed a tear watching pac beat a weight drained oscar (who floyd fought at 154), nor the win he got against cotto who was dropped down to 145 as well. I'm curious to see what is said after this fight with shane who we all know pac avoided all together no matter how much shane pleaded to make it happen.

    Mayweather pisses it.

How is this opinion formed that Collazo gave Mosley any problems

Anyway, I'm pretty sure that Cotto only gave Mosley problems becuase Mosley was set on knocking Cotto 'the brawler' out with one punch....
When he met Cotto 'the boxer' he came completely unstuck.

Not to say that he can't always deal with that style.
You could see Cotto was just beginning to wilt under Mosley's pressure... In the same back peddling way as shown in all of Cotto's proceeding fights.

So yeah IMO it's not so black and white. Mosley needs to get his estimation of, and preparation for Mayweather absolutely spot on.

    The less surprises, the better.

True story. I had a dream last night that Shane floored Mayweather twice and Mayweather still won on points.

....look guys, i would love to see floyd loose as much as the next guy. Hell i think it's be great if pac and floyd both loss thier next fights just so we could move on to the million other boxers out there who could put on just as good if not a better fight than those two. I just really feel that most of this hype is generated off mosely's win over margarito. Take that fight out of the picture and i doubt most would even give mosely a chance. If winky's D was too much for shane then how will he fare against one of the best defensive fighters in the sport. If it took shane 12 to stop mayorga who is probably one of the easiest guys to hit in the sport then how will one punch take out floyd if he can even land that one punch in the first place. Now if floyd has been training all these weeks knowing he's going to load his gloves and has them taken away right before the fight then i'll give shane a better shot. But i see no advantages shane has over floyd. Mayweather has fought and beat, taller, stronger, smarter and in zab guys that are just as fast as he is. Mosley said himself that his speed is what will make the difference. Really like the way it did cotto ?? If anything cotto damn near looked as fast as shane at times and had very little problems adapting to shanes speed. Floyd loosing would be the post fight interview i've waited to see for years......but i give little to no chance of seeing it this weekend.

Well, there's a reason why the poll is 18 to 7. Most people, I'm sure, want to see Floyd go down in flames but we have enough respect to see it in a fairly unbias manner... and can say that regardless of for what reason, Floyd is the superior fighter at this point in both of their careers. Some people are being sold by the 24/7s like HBO tends to do, to make it look they're on even ground... When in all actuality, they're not. I want Mosley to KO Floyd but it's not gonna happen.

I am sure I voted HTH is a joey before, but think, hope and pray that Shane wins.

To be honest dude, he is at full stretch and short of landing fully but I get what you are saying. If this was a Pac/Floyd fight I'd be fucking way more excited. Floyd will be on his bike or hold when Shane goes to work, landing odd pot shots along the way.

Mayweather by WIDE UD, something like 118-110, 117-111, in a fight where he completely outclasses a befuddled Mosley. People instantly start saying how they knew Mosley was old and past it...
