can the news of the world really put cameras in peoples hotel rooms?

ok its big news that hatton is on coke but is it not bigger news that the news of the world are spying on people by planting cameras?

how is this allowed? the only conclusion that i can come to is that it is all staged and hatton bought into it from the start for some publicity or something

surely planting cameras isnt allowed

something needs to be done too coz doesnt this set a precedent for anyone to go and plant cameras where ever they want so they can sell the content?

how did they get it in there? were the hotel in on it?
