Audley Harrison couldn't have flicked through the Argos catalogue to find a champion made for him more than David Haye is, and Argos do everything.
Audley could take Haye out in rounds 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, 11, 12
Not round 8 though because in round 8 he always likes to put on a show, it is some superstition he has. (born on the 26th, 2 + 6 = 8, the infinite number)
5 foot 4 inches and 154 lbs of PURE MAN
Yes
Shit koppa I did forget... Right hook it is then or even the jab ;d
This is the fight I'm been waiting for. So much is on the line. The winner will have much to gain. The loser will suffer a major set back. They both have been talking a lot of shit to each other. Can't wait.
I don't even think he has a punchers chance when I think about it seriously. Yes he has the physical make up to cause the upset but he has no heart and is not willing to throw a punch. I will guarantee now that Haye gets him out before the end of the 3rd and probably in the 1st! He is by far the most explosive fighter Harrison will have been in with and the Fraudster will not know how to handle him at all!
After watching video of both fighters I see little chance of Harrison winning. Audley seems like a guy waiting to get hit. He's just not busy enough to even bother Haye. I'm picking Haye by 8th round TKO.
I see Haye wining this early but if forced to envision a way Audley can win I see one of two scenarios
- 1. Audley hangs in there, shows heart. Survives early onslaught and just keeps a safe distance, he loses every round but Haye cant get rid of him. It goes late and Audley is miles behind but he wont accept defeat. Haye is embarassed that it is dragging on and is under pressure to close the show. In his rush to end it, Haye unloads as Audley flailing away in desperation manages to land a shot out the blue that lands perfectly and takes Haye out.
Both of these are basically lucky punches. Without that I cant see anyway of Audley winning. Prediction is Haye ends it when he chooses to but I hope im wrong.
- 2. Haye is able to hurt Audley early and his arrogance takes over instead of finishing it he goes into relaxed mode. Audley patiently waits for his opportunity and when Haye makes a mistake Audley ends it with 1 shot
Sorry for the cliche but this is Heavyweight boxing and anything can happen. Like someone has already mentioned, did anyone see Buster Douglas or Corrie Sanders beating Tyson and Klitchko respectively. Audley's great strength is not in the ring but actually making people believe he can win. He's made a career out of it and still continues to do so. We all watch him half believing it and half wanting to see him get KO'd. Nothing I've seen from Audley suggests that he can win this fight. He was losing to Sprott and won with a very good punch. Some say it was lucky but it was just a good punch. The problem Audley has is will he be in the ring long enough for him to land a good punch? Probably not! If Audley stays in a shell it could go in to the later rounds but I expect Haye to KO him within 5-6. But then this is Heavyweight boxing and anything can happen!![]()
Not a chance. It is a mugs fight made for mugs.
"Oooh Audley is fighting in his talk" and "Haye is so arrogant..". Well, it is pantomime, the fight has no reason for taking place except for the purpose of manipulating a lot of silly people for the money they will willingly hand over.
It is a joke fight and it has no reason to be taking place right now. There are no excuses for this kind of drivel.
Lennox Lewis thinks this is a close fight. He reckons Audley has the power to hurt Haye and the skills to negate his speed.
I think the whole Audley - Haye dispute flared up over some sparring they did whilst Lewis washed. Both of em trying their best to impress Lennox, so I think his opinion will mean alot to both fighters.
Despite us lot on here thinking its a one horse race alot of people in the know like Wvlad, Jones, Lewis and Bruno seem to think this is a close fight. Makes you rethink
