Ant is right that this isn't a low risk/high reward fight. Dzinziruk is undefeated for a reason. He's a southpaw with one of the better jabs in boxing and he has great fundamentals. He'll be a challenge. Sergio better not take training lightly.
I gotta say from what I nknow of his habits through the grapevine and the times I visited his open workouts the guy is one of those who seems to always be in shape and uses camp as more or less the way to fine tune etc.....Good habit for fighters to carry with especially ones in their mid 30's.......Though he does come off as a bit arrogant and it is hard to decifer between him being confident and cocky......
When have you visited his open workouts?
I was at one for the Williams 1 fight, 1 for the Pavlik fight I was at the one he did at the 2010 HOF weekend....The one at the 2010 HOF I spent most of his workout with Butes team while they watched him taking notes on him
That sounds nuts. Did Bute's team give any insights?
They think that Sergio would be taylor made for him actually at this stage of Butes career....The low hands would play into Lucians speed even though Sergio is quicker they think because Bute can fight going backwards he would not have to be the aggressor...... at the same time they think since Bute is bigger and he can land big shots going backwards Martinez being the aggressor would only be more helpful and they would not have to play a cat and mouse game with him....On that note though what they say and what they really think are two different things.....All I can say for sure is I don't think I have seen one fighter study another so closely as Bute was with Martinez unless they either had a bout coming up or were in the same weight class....Bute studied Martinez timing more then anything.....

IMO would be a good fight can't say who would win....Though If Bute had even the slightest stamina issue I would give the edge to Sergio....If they got into a slugging match I have to give Bute the advantage......For some reason I really do not see the fight coming off at all because there would be a bigger financial gain for Bute to fight Pascal.....and once the S6 is over the whole division opens up for big fights......Then again staranger things have happened.....

Hope he gets to rake in the big cash after this fight tho, because he's one fighter that definitely deserves it. This is a big risk low reward fight tho but I don't think martinez will be underestimating dzin, don't see him as that guy.

I agree, he's definitely earned my respect and came a long way considering he was almost 20 years old before he started boxing, I'm very impressed with him and I think if he wins this one he should move to cotto possibly, and if a win in both he deserves a higher p4p ranking in my book, I love to see a south paw rise to a big status considering people tend to duck out of fighting them as has happened so many times with Paul Williams
