i saw a ref once warn a boxer for lowering his head to about belly-button height on the other fighter. "pick your head up" he cried. "2nd warning". wtf I guess Marciano would have been DQ'ed every frikkin fight, if that merits a warning. And when he did it a 3rd time, his opponent put him in a headlock, and hit him several times with his other hand whilst holding him fast in a headlock, and the ref didnt say PISS about that. wtf THEN, THE ICING ON THE FRIKKING GINGER-CAKE WAS THIS: THE REF TOOK A POINT FROM THE FIGHTER WHO WAS HEADLOCKED AND HIT, saying "Keep your head up. If you do it again, you know what time it is!". tell me, is headlocking and hitting OK, but lowering the head is illegal wtf

Personal opinion mate, but he should never ref another fight for as long as he lives!

The Hatton Mayweather fight will always stick with me for his bias towards Floyd in that fight. Ruined my enjoyment of what should have been a far better scrap than it turned out to be.

I always thought that incident was way over blown. Obviously it isn't Cole's place to say that to a fighter. But it's not like it was secret information. Everybody in the building, including Jaca's mom knew Marquez was winning the fight. He was pitching a shut out. Cole was just stating the obvious. Now if the fight was close and there wasn't a clear winner yet than I can understand the backlash. But not here. It was something small turned into something big
