Think u guys r selling Haye short
...
The guy has proven he can bang n hes willing to fight anyone.
I happn to like both Klits n Haye howvr I think Vitali owns him n hes got a shot at beating Wlad.

In any other era both Wlad and Haye are mediocre heavies. Actually you can add Vitali to that list but i think it's laughable to create a thread like this hating on the current fighters as they are just doing what they can with what they have in front of them. Haye unified Cruiser and won a belt at heavy, Wlad near unified heavy and Vit has a long reign and is dominant at forty these three are the elite heavy fighters of our ERA.
But let's not fool ourselves, I'm a Haye fan, your a Klit fan so rabid that you refuse to refer to David Haye using his name but the reality is a win over Haye is the crowning moment in either brothers career because despite having 25 fights is it? he is the biggest and most accomplished fighter they have fought bar Lewis. And Vit lost the Lewis fight by TKO.
We have three mediocre heavyweight champions in fact I'd pick a prime Frank Bruno or Oliver Mcall to be the dominant champion if they were active fighters today.

Wlad is a mediocre heavyweight? Besides Lennox and his brother who would beat him more often than not?
I would love to see Foreman get past that jab, or Frazier trying to figure out how to get on the inside. Tyson would be able to knock Wlad out a few of the times, but more often than not he would be contained and eventually ko'ed.
Wlad has really good speed for his size, strength that only handful of heavyweights ever possessed, and the most dominant jab maybe the sport has ever seen. Larry Holmes had an amazing jab, but it didn't make opponents completely gun shy. THe difference is that Holmes has a snake like snappy jab that stunned opponents, and Wlad has a ramming jab that pummels opponents. HIs is like a right hand, and his makes 240 pound guys quit trying.
Any of the top guys would have had a one punch type chance against Wlad, but he has made it so hard to hit him cleanly. He uses that jab, and he uses a decent cross on the outside then he falls on you when you get inside on him. You can't just counter over the jab because Wlad is quick and he comes forward behind it seamlessly with the punch, and he has a great feeling for range to go along with his height, so he doesn't throw the jab short, and if you are fast then he just waits a bit until you set your feet before he throws it. As he has gotten more confident it's become harder and harder for opponents to do anything against him.
You can complain about the modern heavyweight division all you want, but it's really not that bad, and actually is far better than the one in the 80's. Where Larry Holmes and Tyson faced the same thing that they were vastly superior to the field around them.
