The Audley Harrison fight is the only fight where he's been lighter at heavyweight.

He can attempt to stick and move jumping in and out, but that jab will find him and once it finds him steadily its all over because the right hand will eventually follow it.

I'm thinking more that instead of jumping in and out he might 'jump' side to side... Wlad's straights move with a bit of speed but he is pretty crap on his feet.

The jab always seems to find guys who think they can stand in front of him - as long as they move their head. Even Chris Byrd offered little in the way of changing angles.

More and more I think Haye is going to try to take advantage of Wlad's relatively poor lateral movement and limited angles... he also looks very uncomfortable stepping forward so I wouldn't be surprised to see Haye trying to fight laterally off the back foot.

If Wlad really has bought all of the prefight antics and comes out gunning for Haye then I'd expect Haye to do just that.

even though Haye is the overconfident braggart here, we can't deny that at 30 lbs lighter he is the underdog here. I think I'll be rooting for Haye.
I remember what my Physiotherapist co-worker told me before sometimes that abundance of type IIa-b muscle fiber might just do the trick despite the size disparity

The effect of the size difference will depend on the tactics of both men anyway so i wont be reading too much in to it

Sounds weird for a Wlad fight but if ever he should keep the right sparse I think it's with Haye here. Just vary that jab and should keep Haye nicely out of sorts and resetting shots. Hayes best chance is for Wlad to negate advantages and over commit right, shorten himself. Hey, I think Haye gives a shot in the arm to division...Wlad can be a snoozy bore, but more and more I think Wlad paints his face rushing in and stops him.

If he starts jumping side to side Wlad will just hook off the jab or move him into a corner as he did with Ray Austin....I would LOVE to see a KO like the Ray Austin one again, merciless

You seem nervous all of a sudden to me Lyle. You should know that a puncher weighing 212lbs can KO anybody let alone a man who has had SERIOUS issues with his chin. Yet you think Haye is looking to go the distance?? He is looking for speed and I have a feeling he is going to go straight for the kill. When Wlad grabs he is going to bang him round the back of the head a few times and probably lose a point but it will make Wlad think twice and the second that happens with someone as fast as Haye you are fucked.

As for the weigh in itself I was proud to be British when I heard the crowds response to the fighters. That is what it will be like in the stadium too and that is a huge boost for Haye. It has made an away fight seem like a home fight.

By tomorrow night after Wlad wins, Haye and his countrymen will come up with every excuse in the book. Mark my words. We've seen it before (in Hatton's losses) and we will see it again.

    what excuses?

The only thing i'll be pissed about is if the ref spoils the fight.

Floyd probably would have beaten hatton in that fight anyway but the ref spoilt the fight.

i've been looking forward to this fight far too long. if the ref ruins it one way or the other I will be pissed!

Could one of the guys in the know tell me what shock muscle is? I heard Lennox talking about it, is it like power punching coach's side muscle?

I was proud because Wlad refused to fight in the UK in the end. We could have made more money by having the fight at Wembley, but he refused because he wanted home advantage. The crowd showed Haye will have more noise in the stadium anyway now and that makes me proud. No other country could take so much support around the world as the Brits do and that is a great thing. The shouting was just banter but Wlad looked a bit shocked by it which is a good thing.

You know I've just been watching him fight brewster (the first time) and just as I spot him hooking off his jab RJJ also comments on it.

if Booth hasn't spotted that then he should be certified as blind.

Incidently it didn't help him much in that fight...

Not too sure myself. I think he means fast twitch, which is the more stingy sinew like bruce lee had which is primarily used for speed and explosion.
