Haye would've "gotten the last laugh" if he had actually done what he said he was going to do... win the heavyweight title.

This is something easily explained. The lack of any knockdowns is that both were
Etrified of getting in range. Neither has the best faith in their ability to defend, avoid or take a shot. With Haye it was blatantly obvious with those few looping overhand shots he tried that were miles away, he didnt want to get in range. As for Wlad, I was screaming at the screen for him to throw the fucking right hand!
The shots that did land had no real conviction in them, none were thrown with the full body and effort behind them and in range. Haye did alot of pointless upper body movement while out of range but still got caught with shots. He has no idea of how to get in range and not get hit like a Mike Tyson for instance.
Clueless about what? Are you going to deny that half of Britain's boxing fans thought this clown was the greatest British HW since LL?
Like i've told you before Fenster, I can't stand anything about Haye, but he ain't worth the effort it would take to hate him. You seem to not be able to differentiate, between simple criticism and hate, and you become defensive, "irrational", and overly emotional, when you believe your boy Haye is being attacked.
Even though you might not think so, Haye is deserving of ANY criticism he's getting, "hate" and has little to do with it, it's all fun and games.
3-Time SADDO PREDICTION COMP CHAMPION.
Not if they thought he was anywhere close to being as good of a HW as Lewis. I mean WTF am I saying wrong here, I'm not saying all fans in the UK worshipped and overrated Haye to the hilt, but plenty did. You live there Memphis so you oughta know better then me, look at how many delusional Haye fans showed up in Hamburg expecting to see Wlad get knocked out.
When God said to the both of us "Which one of you wants to be Sugar Ray?" I guess I didnt raise my hand fast enough

Oh really? Like none of what you've posted in the endless post fight threads has been about defending Haye? You said half of Britain thought he was the next coming of Lennox Lewis. Prove it?
If you care so little for Haye why keep making threads and posts about him? None of which are positive.
I haven't defended Haye over a thing. Merely countering some uncalled-for nonsense
Like I said, Haye deserves everything that's coming his way, he brought it on himself, as for negative posts and threads about him. I haven't gone overboard posting threads about him, i'm just countering some uncalled-for bullshit by Haye and his fans and, telling it the way I see it..

But the real question is: if that's Haye's last big time fight, is it enough to get him to his real goal - becoming the first black James Bond?![]()
You'd have to show me what i've been defending?
Barring the accusation that he's a coward, which is pathetic, I haven't defended anything else.
This thread you've started was about Haye making tons of money. I agreed with you.
Have I ever denied he lost? No.
Did I defend the toe excuse? No.
I don't believe his performance was as horrible as most. I don't think I was conned. I enjoyed the whole event.
Not sure what you're getting at? I guess you can't prove half of British fans thought he was the next Lennox Lewis then?

We're more apt to see Haye vs the Chisora-Fury winner due to money, I mean you Brits LOOOOVE some David Haye, why not welcome him back with a huge match like that....or do those guys play too rough?
Wlad-Povetkin is likely next and I figure now that Wlad has the WBA belt a Valuev fight may be attainable.
Well considering Haye fought like that against Valuev, it's not exactly inconceivable. And don't you dare try and mention hindsight because i've already been there. Already mentioned that Haye likes to go missing, take his time and pick his shots. And as for Wladimir picking his shots, the only punch he landed more or at a better connection rate (or both) was his jab!
Lyle answer me this, when exactly did Ibragimov throw anything that resembled a hurtfull punch? This fight was nothing like the Ibragimov fight. Boring maybe but imo no more boring than the Mayweather Dela Hoya fight.
Now answer me this, when was the last time you saw a wildly exciting superfight?
