Ward will win but if Froch wins this then this victory would be up there with Honeyghan v Curry.

I agree. It will be a closer fight than the Abraham was or the Green fight. I actually thought the Bika fight was competitive for a bit. Ward just has more in his repertoire than Froch and for the first time for Froch, he's facing someone with the desire that matches his. Would I be shocked if Froch eeked out a close decision by having the stronger punches and maybe staggering Ward a few times? No. To me, it's just more likely Ward takes it like 8-4/9-3. How happy is Fenster that the S6 is finally finishing?
I think the S6 has been great for matching fighters tough. It makes "champions" like Bute look really weak when you consider the S6 competitors schedules.

I only ever said it wouldn't work as planned. I was proved right when Taylor retired after the first fight. Let alone other fighters being replaced, rows about home advantage, arguments about money, injuries delaying bouts, promoter/fighter fall-outs etc.

Just about every reason I gave for why it wouldn't work happened.

Seeing as froch has a higher workrate and punch output than calzaghe I have to agree froch win by early ko

I'm sorry to be a negative Nancy bit this fight has all the makings of an ugly tactical fight with not a lot of clean power shots coming from either side. Saying that though I think will Ward will win a ud. Man it seems the more I think of this fight the less excited I become.

This is a fight that i'll try watching, but it's not one that i'll be pumped up about, I have little interest in Ward's fights.

This fight is being deemed as a possible ugly fight and I agree but just like those people that can't stand looking at a gruesome traffic accident, I'll do what they do and peak between my fingers. If I were at ringside I would probably want a replay of a dirty punch. Seiously, Ward by UD.

    To everybody.
The only way to beat ward Is not throw a single jab to the head!!!
Throw all punches and only target the body from round 1 to round 12!!! Ward can't move their body and neither can anyone else.

Really hope Froch pulls this one off. He deserves a little time in the limelight.

Winner to fight Kessler very soon after.

My god !!! Ward out of Cali for this one. Something must have went wrong with the negotiations.

I did get to see Johnson-Froch in A.C. but it does look like I will miss this one. I will be moving south the beginning of Sep. Damn shame I would have loved to have seen this one.
