He left the UFC because Dana wouldn't give him his promised title shot after he KTFO'd Bisping (instead giving it to Belfort, who Hendo dominated less than two years prior), and StrikeForce gave him more money. You're making it sound like he went 0-3 and got bounced, ge left over a contract dispute as the rightful number one contender on a 3 fight streak over top competition.

This is what worries me more than anyhthing, the contract dispute he had with UFC at the time, now Zuffa own Strikeforce, are they gonna be willing to do business with a man who turned his back on them. Same thing happened with UFC and Fedor, now he's been dropped from their rosta. Of course his situation is different to Hendo's, at least Hendo has been winning.
Some good discussion points here
Hendo in my eye's can hang with all of them except Jones, Hendo would seriously get beat up. Anyone else he would give a good fight, and, as mentioned, IF that big right lands on anyone from 180-205 then it's gonna hurt, and they will be in trouble.
The Machida match up would be a good barometer for him at 205, or Leben at Middleweight. That I would like to see, In fact put him in with either Munoz or Leben, both would prove tough competition at MW.
Anyone thinking of going to UFC 138 at Birmingham ?
