One of the saddest days in boxing history was seeing Ali enter the ring against Trevor Berbick. Ali should've retired after the Thriller in Manilla, he got gift decisions to keep him going in the late 70's and some people have a lot to answer for with regards to his current condition.
I think Ali should never have fought Lyle or Shavers or Norton a 3rd time, all of that was unnecessary shots to the head and organs at a time when he had already proved everything to the world and himself. No need to fight those hard hitters at that stage. He took alot of punishment from the 1st Spinks fight too, Leon landed quite a number of bombs there.
That ain't Muhammad Ali. Just an old athlete who shared the name.

Just shows you what a beast Hearn’s was, could you imagine a welterweight sparring with the Klitscko’s.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
I wont watch that again!
horrible.
Reminds me that I used to daydream of Ali coming out of retirement in the 1980s after being treated for his condition, and taking the title from Spinks and Tyson in close fought decisions Rocky VI style. I actually believed it was going to happen back then.
