I'd pick Ann Wolfe over Angulo, but whatever happened in prison seems to have ruined Kirkland's chin. Angulo by TKO.

I also think Angulo stops Kirkland early. But I think it'll be fun while it lasts!

Buggery will do that to a man, though I'm not sure his chin was great to begin with.

I am going to be 100% wrong about my opinion because I usually am.

I think in Kirklands case he was used to a certain intensity level and comfort level with Wolfe. say like a Tyson/ D'mato and the fact that he wasnt conditioned enough for HIS STYLE of combat left him for the taking against the Japanese fighter.

I think with Wolfe he has it all going for him and with a fight like Angulo on the table it has all the makings for exterme motivation. James and Wolfe have 0 doubt that they can conquer Angulo and frankly have 0 respect for him and Wolfe has the ability to will James to Victory and keep him vicious enough.

Dont forget when this guy got busted for weapons he was a fight or 2 away from king pinning that division.

Im hoping this fight is like Soto vs Antillion or Berto vs Ortiz Martinez vs Williams 1

Like I said earlier in the thread, what's so special about having Ann Wolfe as your "trainer, a female ex-boxer, WTF? It's just comical to believe the brain fart that a novice female "trainer" like Wolfe could "will James to Victory" against a guy like Angulo.

As for Kirkland a fight or 2 from "king pinning that division" before he went to prison, that's fucking comical too.

I spoke to Kendall Holt and Ji Hoon Kim the other day and they agree with me that Ann Wolfe is a major asset in Kirkland's camp and her absence was one of the main reasons why he's been looking so poor.. It's obvious.. Wolfe puts her fighters through these fuckin hell trainings that the Navy Seals would be proud of but Kirkland was missing that for awhile.. Not only was his timing off due to inactivity but his conditioning wasnt up to par and nothing positive can come out of that.. But now that he's back to the roots, Angulo has got a real fight on his hands.. Im more of a Angulo fan but if ya think that he's going to walk over Kirkland, think again..

I hope the bookies fuck up on this one..

Kirkland seems to be on a slide since he got out of the pen, if Ann Wolfe had been back working with Kirkland for a few fights before facing Angulo, she 'might' have made a difference, but as it is, I don't see her being much of a factor Nov. 5th.. BTW, I also don't see why Wolfe is considered a top trainer, who the fuck has she successfully trained besides Kirkland?

I'm thinking again, and I see the same result, El Perro stops Kirkland within 6 rounds in Cancun, Mexico.
It's not about whether or not one is a great trainer.. IT's about the CHEMISTRY between the two..

Steward is a HOF trainer but does he elevate all fighters? What has he done for Kermit Cintron and Vivian Harris? what about Freddy Roach and Vanes??

Ann wolfe doesn't have to be a decorated trainer to be an effective trainer.. Her training methods may not work for everyone but apparently, it did work well for Kirkland. Fighters and Trainers must have trust in each other and Kirkland actually listens to her so they make a great combination.

If it aint broke, then dont fix it.. WEll he tried to train with someone else and it didnt work out so he's now gone back to the roots..

I think we'll see the old Kirland

Those names you mentioned arent great. I think it still takes a fighter with the right ingredients for a "great" trainer to help him become a great fighter.
