He tried that bullshit with Antwon Echols, Robert Allen, Calzaghe, Roy rematch and now this... Ref isn't stupid.

    Conman got conned..
I don't always agree with Finito, but he's on point here. I think Hopkins was trying to buy time off and got caught.

Ah. The same Allen who laced him and had him in a headlock before Mills came in and poked Allen in the eye and both all but ushered Hopkins thru the ropes? Same bithcass Hopkins who when back in ring was telling Ratner 'Its my call Doc, I can fight'. I ain't no Dr but hitting the floor off an officials hand is what it is, and properly called a NC.

Allen got his rematch too...and got owned while putting on one of the hardest acting jobs I've ever seen it the ring trying to win via DQ to where ref was almost literally laughing at him "come on man" at one point and his corner had to remind him 'you can't win on the ground'

Same bitchass Hopkins who was lifted and tossed on mat by grimy Echols, who lost points, but got up and dominated same entire 6th round with left hand, eventually smacking him around like a drunk on Bourbon street for the win? He didn't have to 'try' a thing.

The same Hopkins who was rolling around on the floor from imaginary low blows against Calzaghe and was seemingly hit on the head with a hammer by Roy Jones the second time out. The man is notorious for his time buying and so much more now that he is well past his sell by date.

Another awful decision in boxing....no wonder the sport struggles to increase its fan base.

Dawson clearly pushed him off, both legs off the ground and landed on his elbow regardless of if he was making it look worse, thats what happened and he could have easily been injured from a result of that.

Why was Hopkins on top of Dawson though? He put himself in that position. Dawson nudged because Hopkins was leaning all his weight on him to push him to the ground.

How can I answer that? Hopkins was probably leaning on him like you said and pushing him down (basically being a bit dirty) like most do in that situation...Dawson didnt just nudge him though he wasnt liking it and fair enough so the nudge ended up being more of a throw. A nudge wouldnt have lifted both legs off the floor.

Dont get me wrong Hopkins is just as much too blame but you cant end the fight as a TKO thats just a joke.

wel, using your example, JC faked hitting people to gain advantages in his fights and never got reprimanded for it.

I think the referee should be sacked, tbh. They employee some idiots as refs.
That's iditiotic. By that logic, Paulie Malignaggi should get points deducted for punching.
hi - my actual point is explained above. that post was simply my BHop style setup so as to land my knockout.
