But the fight will likely never happen. We could dream.
If Pacquiao fought THAT Cotto then Pacquiao would have been stopped. Cotto had a legit trainer, fought at a natural weight, and of course he did better. Look at Pacquiao-Marquez and Floyd-Marquez, I think that's probably just as skewed because Floyd got JMM to jump up in weight to where he wasn't comfortable but then again Pac fought him again and it was razor thin the difference between those guys.

I had a debate with my workmate over the weekend on fbook and I said the same as you almost word for word. He thinks Pac destroys Mayweather and he used the Cotto fight as a comparison. Cotto was dead at the weight. This lad is a good fighter and usually knows his stuff. I respect people thinking Pac might win although I disagree but no way does Pac steamroll him.

Floyd is a oddity outside the ring, I feel it's just a smoke screen remember the media say lot's of things
about the guy he uses them on his part.
Remember one week Pretty Boy next week Money Mayweather, image change, he walks round talking
trash throwing money around don't you just hate the guy.
When Floyd fight's in that ring you get to see a master in the art of boxing, if you are honest he did
let Cotto into the fight because he changed tactics.
Cotto is a excellent fighter himself I like Cotto, a honest good champion and a credit to the sport to
me he seem to be getting better the older he gets.

Nice to see the objective posts on this thread. Like him or not, when it's all said and done we'll have been lucky to witness a rare breed of fighter in FMJ.

You can't take any notice of a celebrity's persona or image. Most of them have an army of PR people to manage it. Look at the difference between Sugar ray Leonard's image and the truth (as he admitted in his autobiography). Look at Mike Tyson's early image while he was on his way up.

None of us has the slightest idea whay Floyd is really like, so all we do is speculate and reaffirm our already held beliefs.

The only 'truth' is what they guy does in the ring, in front of us...... and there is no question that he is the best fighter we've seen for quite some time. I can't see a big flaw in him to be honest.

After he has retired, we will be talking about him as an all time great, up there with anyone who has stepped in the ring at those weights.

We must remember boxer's at World level, make large sum's of money and Floyd is top of the shit pile. There is a good living to be made Floyd milks his image of a bad guy, you could call him a entertainer you have the good guy and the bad one.Us as fan's have our preference and so do the general public the good guy yes he must win, he loves little animals and children.the bad guy he worships the devil and eat's little children. Image it seem's is everything to sum people if you have
the personality of a plank, but your a good fighter will you get far into today's World of superstars I
    don't really no.!
