It started with a tap leak.

In the old days I would simply open the tap and change the washer. Now with these new fancy taps I could not open the bloody thing so had to buy a £20 tool to try and open it but could not get the grip.

So bought £90 new tap instead. Then had to go back to the shop beacuse the fittings did not match my current ones. Put everything in place and water leaking everywhere. Took a total of 4 hours and without water all night.

Moral of the story, call a plumber and not do DIY.
