James Toney at both weights, because quite frankly, he was lovely stuff. The shoulder roll thing, I love the way Toney does that. It is just lovely. Then there is the way he will make you lead and counter you with nasty, quick counters. Honestly, if that isn't lovely I don't know what is. Haye has no output, so unless he is going to stop Toney I don't think he can do much against someone as crafty, skilled and as lovely as James Toney.
Best way to describe Haye is imagine Demarco fighting a Martinez's (or Pascal) style of boxing. Low punch output ambush fighter who hits hard. It is effective but not really. A boxer who can pump the jab can and will negate the lateral movement and the jumping hooks. Moreover if you looked at his fight with Chisora he is breathing quite heavily by the end of that fight.
Toney who can knock you out in any round using a punishing in-fighting style or counter punching or fight on the back foot....yes I'm sorry Toney has too many tools, too many different ways to fight for him to have any trouble with Haye.
I can't see a win for Haye, for all the reasons listed above. Toney is better in every way, and I would argue he was quicker in his pomp.
Toney's chin was excellent, so Haye's puncher's chance is almost nil. Throw in Haye's stamina issues and his inability to counter or infight, I can't see how anybody can pick Haye. Haye on points? Nope. Haye knockout? Unlikely.
The Toney that beat Holyfield was magnificent. He never recovered from the injury he sustained after that fight.
