While I do not think Berto would beat Mayweather either, I really believe that Berto's handspeed, determination, and power would make for a much more intriguing match.
Can't follow your reasoning on this post.
How are you not following the reasoning when he explained the reason? Styles make fights and CFH is saying that Berto's speed is equal to Mayweather's where as Guerrero isn't better or equal to Floyd in any area. Just because Guerrero beat Berto, it doesn't mean that he'll provide the more difficult challenge/intriguing fight for Mayweather.
Floyd is an exceptional fighter in every way, Berto has good power and speed but he is not anywhere near the level of Floyd. This is just my opinion, but I don't think Berto has the mental toughness to win against Floyd.
Ortiz beat Berto, Floyd beat Ortiz. The only real difference between Berto and Ortiz is their heritage, they are both punchers who come to KO you. In the ring they are like mirror images of each other.
There is not enough money in a Berto fight for Floyd, I wouldn't pay to see it. Would you, knowing Berto is going to fail?
I, like a lot of boxing fans, have been waiting and waiting for Floyd to lose but it's not going to be to Berto, I don't care what his style is he does not have the boxing IQ, in my opinion.
Guerrero, in my opinion, is the fighter with the style to beat Floyd. I don't think Robert can win against Floyd either, but there is enough doubt in my mind that I'd pay to find out.

Berto can't deal with people pressuring him. He just goes to the ropes and it takes a lot of his game away. Floyd isn't going to pressure him like that and that would give Berto a puncher's chance, but that's all he'd have.

Berto is an HBO/Haymon creation who has impressive raw skills, but absolutely NO clue how to box.

Mayweather would toy with Berto. Guerrero won't beat Floyd, but at least he's a competent high-level boxer and won't look completely overwhelmed.

Guerrero is a completed professional while Berto is as I've said early on, a rush job who came to let his mistakes grow roots and when he is in deep its basically on the job training. His flaws stand out like neon lights and the blueprint on how to beat him is out. He doesn't adapt and can be easily taken out of his "plan" and his corner almost has seizures asking him to adjust. His handspeed consists of one-two and done followed by a predictable clinch. His power is overstated according to a guy in Guerrero who walked thru his flush, wind up uppercuts. The same Guerrero who was being dumped on his wallet by a one hundred year old Casa not to long ago. Guerrero is the clinical definition of determination between the two as well. I think the last Floyd I saw beats both tomorrow but Guerrero brings more to the table by far, physically, mentally, technically, all around.
