Floyd is a full-fledged, strong welterweight. He's fought at 154 twice and didn't look out of shape doing it. He hasn't fought below 147 since 2005. Also, don't forget when he agreed to a fight with JMM at 144, he couldn't make weight, and came into the fight at 146.

Canelo is a small junior middleweight, although I imagine he'll grow into his body more as he ages a little bit (he's only 22).

Martinez is a small middleweight now, who has stated on the record that he could get down to 154 without too much of an issue if the fight was right.

If Floyd wanted to go out like a boss, he would beat the best at 154 in Trout now, and then Canelo once Canelo beats a ranked opponent, and follow those with a jump up to 160 to beat Martinez.

Floyd's legs have gone so Canelo is a hell of a tough fight for him but I do think he'll do it at some point.

If Floyd does go up to middleweight he would be one of the greatest fighters ever.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.

If he can beat Martinez he would probably be GOAT for me, although fighting so infrequently has to count against him.

In terms of numbers and excitement, Mayweather vs Canelo would be the biggest I believe.

In terms of how many butts it will seat on the chairs I would agree cinnamon boy vs floyd would be the best. What irks me is that Canelo is way to inexperienced for floyd and through no fault of his own (recently anyways) he's yet to fight a good opponent and now it is expected to see him to fight THE opponent? Eh it will be a fun fight to watch I'll admit. Kind of like Victor Ortiz vs Mayweather.
