I wouldn't consider it cheating, just being smart. He needed those extra few seconds to recover. I think that's what added to the epicness of it all.
That is why I do not like it as much as EM v MAB 1.

Definitely, spitting out your mouthpiece to buy time is cheating, it's also a sign of resignation in boxing. Weeks took away a point, but he could have DQ'd Chico. That does take away a bit of the luster from Corrales comeback, but he bought himself time to recover, pretty cagy if you ask me, sometimes when your ass is on the line you have to improvise.

Indeed it is one of the greatest comebacks. Is it the greatest?
I think that's up to interpretation.

"Locomotora" Castro vs. "Action" Jackson def deserves a mention.
Forward to the 6:30 mark... For those who are interested. Castro was getting beat in every sense of the word.

I don't recall seeing this fight before Mick, good one. Castro looked like he was hurt and/or getting ready to be KTFO by Jackson after all the abuse he'd taken and then bam! one punch basically ends the fight.
    Ohhh man... You're missing out.

It was 1994's Fight of the Year. Jorge Castro vs. John D. Jackson 1.
You gotta see it. It's all in YouTube.

Yeah Castro sparking Jackson has always been my favourite come from behind win.

Carl Thompson sparking Sebastian Rothmann is up there as well for me. Rothmann was so in control he started taking the piss.
When God said to the both of us "Which one of you wants to be Sugar Ray?" I guess I didnt raise my hand fast enough

Yes it is.. at least the best ive seen in my lifetime, LIVE..

This is the fight that turned my friend into a hardcore boxing junkie... This dude used to shit on boxing all the time but once I got him high, drunk, and let him watch this fight, this foo turned into a boxing lunatic after.. Dude would call me every other day and ask when the next boxing match is haha.

Ali vs Foreman wasn't really a comeback, he controlled Foreman the entire fight, and then stopped him
