i remember this fight, i thought it was ace at the time
i remember a profile on ruddock where the narrator was saying that ruddock would beat all the top HWs at the time and showing this fight as he said it
never quite turned out that way did it

Talking about referees who should have lost their license what about Paul Sita, who was the third man in the ring when Freddie Norwood lost his WBA Featherweight title to Derrick Gainer in 2000. Although Sita never did a big fight he was still a referee until 2006.
