My wife has been to boxing with me, watched our son box etc, but she was disgusted watching
this fight, here words what's going look at his eye, I had to agree it's not Rocky but real life.
But it was a hell of a fight.

I heard Jones refused to take the post fight drug test. Is this true? Cant believe he took so many shots and barely affected him. I was certain he would collapse around 7/8 after taking so much shots

I was watching the card from Moscow, thinking this is going to be a load of crap, HOW WRONG
I WAS,! Lebadev V Jones was one of the BEST FIGHTS I'VE SEEN IN YEARS, my word toe to toe
thunderous punches landed by both,Jones for a old man had a chin of iron.!
Lebedev was hitting him spot on that chin,Jones was like a rock he could not be moved, Lebadev
had a horrific injury,Jones could not miss him, WHAT A Fight edge of the seat stuff it was a pity
there had to be a loser.
Before someone pipes up I no, Lebadev should have been pulled out with that injury, and hope
there is not serous damage to Lebedevs eye.

Great fight but it was a disgrace, there's no way that fight should of continued for that long. Lebedev had to go down on one knee and basically stop the fight himself, because no one else would do him a favour.

Of course it was a disgrace, his corner the referee the Doctor, but Lebedev could have just sat on
his stool, to game for his own good.! But what a performance by Jones,! 40 plus a truly marvelous fighter.

Most fighters have too much pride for there own good, to quit on there stool. Which is why the corner have to do there job which they didn't but neither did the ref or the doctor.

That's the reason it wasn't stopped. His corner men were Kostya Tszyu and Alexander Povetkin. A former fighter and a current fighter. All 3 share the same mentality. So it was never brought up. The fact that Lebedev was still fighting and winning rounds is the reason why it wasn't even a consideration. The corner didn't do anything wrong by letting the fight continue. It was a championship fight. What the corner did wrong was not having a legitimate cut-man. Povetkin was the cut man. His experience comes from getting worked on. Not working on somebody. He didn't even have an end-swell. Just a bag of ice. It's no wonder the eye blew up the way it did. I don't know if something happened or what. But going into a championship fight without a proper cut-man is just fucking moronic. Tszyu, Lebedev and Povetkin have all been champions. They should of fucking known better. They all share blame

I only saw the tenth round and some highlights thus far. By the tenth it looked like Jones had major fatigue. Looked like his arms were getting too heavy to lift.
